DITTON PARK

REUNION

2 OCTOBER 2004

On the 2nd October 2004 almost 250 people

assembled at DITTON PARK

to renew friendships with past colleagues

of the research facility known over the years

as firstly the RADIO RESEARCH STATION (RRS),

then the RADIO & SPACE RESEARCH STATION (RSRS)

and finally as the APPLETON LABORATORY (AL).

In 1979 the AL merged with the

RUTHERFORD LABORATORY (RL)

and in 1981 moved to Chilton (Oxfordshire) to form the

RUTHERFORD APPLETON LABORATORY (RAL).

This site has been set up for those that worked at Ditton Park so that renewed friendships may be maintained.
