Description

Dream is an advanced composites company that specializes in the fabrication of products using carbon fiber and the use of sandwich core technology. These products are produced in-house using high temperature epoxy and cooked in one of Dream's ovens.

Specific raw goods can be chosen for high modulus, high strength or both. As well as tailored CTE's. Dream works with a great many types of raw fibers and core materials.

The specific carbon fibers that Dream uses have unique properties that make it ideal for main structures and sub assemblies, like mirror cells. The high stiffness, low weight and extremely low CTE all combine to make the most efficient and stable structure available. Dream is pioneering the use of carbon fiber in mirror cells, back plates, secondary assemblies and more. More and more individuals and companies are choosing Dream for their products.

Dream is combining the benefits of advanced composites and cellular mirrors into one product. These mirrors can be up to 75% lower in mass than monolithic glass. These light weight telescopes require smaller and less expensive mountings.

Our engineered mirrors have numerous advantages but our ability to hold them more rigidly, without distortion, is key

Dream is a privately owned Pennsylvania corporation that is CCR and D&B registered.
