hey!

so i had a dream last night about this guy i used to date, his name was
Paul. The only thing i remember about the dream was that i was on my
school bus home and one of my friends that is also Paul's friend too
turn around and said "You know Paul never even liked you" and it felt
like deja vu, like a lot of people have told me that in the dream but i
didn't remember it. And in the dream i replied back, "i know you're
lying you haven't heard it from him" and then i woke up really
confused.

Me and Paul used to date about five months ago and we broke up and
we've both moved on and haven't talked to eachother since, in fact i
never even think about him either that's why i thought the dream was
weird. I was just wondering if you could help me out with
interpretating this dream please that would be a lot of help!
i am  currently reasoning this book called "I Had The Strangest
Dream..."  and its a dream interpretation book but i really didn't know
what to look up to classify the dream.

please help me out !

Hello,

I keep having the same same dream often.  It always involves me being
in a house, or in a tall building.  When I'm in the tall building I am
apprehensive about going to the windows.  Once I go toward the windows
and look outside there is water surrounding the building. Same thing
with me being inside a home, I look out, or walk out and the house is
surrounded by a large body of water (like the ocean) I get am so afraid
of the water like it is going to come in and enter the house.

I've been having relationship issues with my spouse and I'm confused
about whether I love him and want to stay married to him.  I'm pretty
certain that I love him, but lately he has been annoying.

Kimberly's dream:

I was in a relationship about three months ago, and since then I have
had many dreams about my ex boyfriend. I have had several dreams where
he is gay. The first one he kissed another man, the second dream he was
in makeup and dressed like a woman, the third dream I had he had womans
clothing on.

I just want to undertand why I keep having these dreams, my ex is not
gay, as far as i know but I keep having these dreams that he is. please

I've been sleeping really well lately, but my dreams have been getting
REALLY eventfull, as in next morning I can pretty much remember and
picture most of the scenes from my dream.  This hasn't bothered me
untill last night/this morning.

I dreamt the world was ending, I didnt know how but it was sort of like
'the gossip', but everyone was convinced this was the last day of the
world. I walked into a shop and grabbed a crate of beer, my mate turned
to me and said "Don't bother paying it's the last day."  I also
remember looking back at the shop-keeper (who I recognised from my
local) and him looking rather dissapointed/ashamed in me. I carried on
down the street where it seemed pretty chaotic, there was a schoolbus
dropping off kids who were all talking about it, and walking towards me
was a guy who I am currently trying to get hold of because he owes me
some money. (I am currently under a lot of stress with money). I said
wassup and we walked back to my house and walked inside to see my mums
boyfriend who is a recovered drug-user, completely off his face and
hysterical about the world ending, he was doing really crazy stuff and
saying really weird things (he was like bouncing around like a ball on
his back, actually quite disturbing when i remember it). Me and my
mates were concerned but carried on upto my room - this is where it got
bad.

I've had this one a few times but in a different scenario each time,
its like a zombie plague, (kind of 28 days later) where if your touched
by the infected you catch the plague, all my friends had suddenly got
the plague out of nowhere, extremely disturbing graphic faces, I ran
downstairs where I was safe untill I opened the door, there were 3 cats
who all had the plague and I knew I was gonna catch the plague from
them so I was desperately trying to fend them off, for I knew if I
could just get past them I'd be okay, but I couldn't.  I was completely
hopeless and can still feel how I felt then (some 12 hours later).

I don't remember much after this but it was really quite horrific.

It's made me really depressed today, I'm pretty sure its down to my
recent cannabis use (4-5 years) which I have given up for roughly 2
weeks now, I never dreamt at all when I was using, or at least I could
never remember them. I'm 20 years old, I have a lovely girlfriend and I
think of myself as a fairly strong minded person, but this has been
worrying me and affecting my general well-being. Will I continue to
have surreal dreams now I have stopped using, if so will it continue to
change my mood through-out the next day, as this is affecting my
relationship with my GF.

Any help would be appreciated as it's making the whole 'going clean'
thing real hard for me and like I've said affecting my personal life.

Hello. I'm a high school student a mere semester away from graduating.
School's been a bit stressful lately...LOL

But last night, I had a pretty awful, and very vivid dream.

I was being lead down a path filled with jeering people, almost like an
execution in one of those French historical-type movies.

I was blindfolded, and I guess I was, like, watching myself being lead
toward the waiting guillotine. I didn't start experiencing things from
my own body until just before my head was placed on the guillotine
frame.

Then, the executioner pulled the lever, and I very vividly felt my head
being chopped clean off before I woke up.

I'm had dreams where I've been eaten by animals, chased by tigers and
all sorts of nasty nightmares, but that one was one of the worst. What
does it mean, and why was it so clear and real? ...At this point, any
interpretation would help.

Well I really need to know why I'm dreaming about my ex boyfriend all
the time. We have known each other since birth pretty much because are
moms are good friends. When I was 13(now 17) and he was 14(now also 17)
we finally got together and stayed together for a year and a half. I
fell madly in love with him and I thought he felt the same way for me.
But he broke up with me and it almost killed me. I cried myself to
sleep for 6months, and if thats not bad enough I can still think of him
and miss him crazy but I feel bad because I have a boyfriend right now
that would do anything in the world for me!!

Okay, about the dreams I have of him...  about every night I will have
a dream about him and I getting back together but its not ever in the
same place or happen the same way. The one I can remember the most is
I'm at school and my boyfriend that I have right now drops me off and
we can see my ex. My ex walks up to me and I hug him and we both tell
each other that we've missed each other so much. My boyfriend hears it
and gets so upset and drives off crying and I feel like the worst
person in the world but I still go to my ex and kiss him like nothings
wrong. We walk down the hall like we use to and everyone can see us and
he stops me to kiss me and tell me he loves me and I tell him I love
him too, then I wake up.

And now everytime I look and my boyfriend I think of all my dreams of
me getting back with my ex and it makes me miss him, but it also is
killing me inside knowing that I want someone else other then the
person I have. I want my boyfriend to act like my ex when it comes to
being sweet and saying things to me but I can't tell him anything about
my ex because he doesn't like him.

I don't know what to do about the way I'm feeling right now and wish I
could just be happy!!!

If you can give me an answer to why I feeling this it would help so
much.

2 dreams about my car within 3 nights.

1st dream - I simply couldn't find my car in a parking lot.  Can't
remember what kind of lot, but I looked everywhere and couldn't
remember where I parked.

2nd dream - my car was stolen and this really upset me in my dream.
Spend rest of dream trying to find it, who took it, etc.

Just weird because when I woke up, both of these dreams really stuck in
mind and won't go away.

Hi I had a dream the other night that is still really bothering me. The
dream goes like this; It was late at night and I was in bed when I
started hearing knocking on my front door. When I looked through the
peep hole it was unusually dim on my door stoop, far more than normal.
There was a man that was not much more than a shadow. He had on a black
cloak, his hood was down- but I couldn't see his face, his head was
down so I could only see the top of his head. While I was looking
through the peep hole he pulled the black hood over his head so I
couldn't see any of him after that (I think it was supposed to be the
grim reaper). I slowly backed away from the door, I think so that he
couldn't hear I was inside. I went to my bedroom and tried to dial 911
but everytime I dialed it I made a mistake and had to keep starting
over- I started getting really frustrated and my phone kept working
slower so that each time I made mistake dialing it would take a long
time before I could reattempt to dial. Meanwhile the reaper was
knocking really hard and trying the door handle but still didn't manage
to get in.

There are a couple of things going on in my life right now. I'm having
a physical relationship with a guy I've known for a few years, anytime
we get together he comes to my house late at night and knocks on the
door. I think there might be feelings between us; I've told him I had
feelings and he responded by saying a committed relationship between us
would just end up hurting me. We decided to keep it physical but he
confuses me alot by asking me if I'm over him or do I still want him-
but never really elaborates on what he means. He doesn't really act
like it's just physical.

The other situations occuring are that I'd like to leave my job and go
back to school, and I've stopped trying to spend time with a best
friend who I have a love/hate relationship with. Hope you can make some
sense out of the dream!

I live about 20 min from the Oakland Hills in California.  I am
constantly having dreams where I am in this location.  It's starting to
feel like I live there in my sleep!  The connections I have are, my
grandparents living there and traveling there once a month of so
growing up, and also it's a place I go to sit and look over all the
lights and views of the bay area, bay bridge, San Francisco etc.

I have these dreams where I'm flying over the hills, driving in cars,
and the ever so popular exploring and ending up in houses in the hills.
  They most often take place at night.  Many of my dreams I am in search
of something or someone and end up wandering through a home and
exploring it.  I've flown through the fog blinded by it and come upon a
roof down in Berkeley. The oakland/Berkeley hills are fill with huge
artistic homes of the wealthy. I guess a place I find untouchable for
myself, but always excited to visit.  I wish I could remember a
specific dream right now, but just keep having the image of this
location pop up.

Two nights in a row ive had similar dreams that emphasized on the
missing hand on one arm (only nub) and the other hand on one dream more
like nightmare a finger or two were missing... I believe it was pinky
and thumb and the other fingers were fine.. The other dream was only a
nub on one arm and the other hand had the fingers but were cut at the
first bend from the knuckles so only had two inches of fingers but had
them all.. First dream was me and brother and we went drinking and rode
around after picking up beer from convenience store and happened to
pick up some arab for some reason.. Arab sat in passenger side of car
while brother drove and i was in back seat. there was a disagreement
with passenger then we were threatened when we tryed to get him to get
off and out of car with explosives that he would blow us up.. So we all
kept driving. All i can remember is that we agreed for me to drive
because my brother was more drunk.. I fell asleep driving then wrecked
and i came out fine of car accident but car did cause an explosion but
then my brother was in hospital and thats when i found out he had the
missing hand and missing fingers on other hand..

The other dream that relates to the missing hand and cut fingers was me
and was at a jobsite with a guy that was cutting concrete with a
concrete saw.. he was doing it rather well and quick and when i walked
over to watch him cut the concrete thats when he stopped to talk to me
and i seen his hands.. I dont acually see any blood or how the hands
get cut off.. i just see the after once it is healed and all.. Is there
anything i should take from this? please let me know.. First dream was
really scary and th ought about it entire next day...

Hi Peregrin,

I had a strangely vivid dream last night. I dreamt I was getting
married, however I didn't get to see who it was. I saw my father there
and he was extremely happy, along with all my friends and family, and
in the dream even though I didn't see who it was I was getting married
to I felt a deep sense of happiness. I woke up feeling refreshed and
before my alarm went off.

I'm currently single with a young child, not seeing anyone at the
moment and I'm pretty content with my life, career and loving friends
and family. As a young girl I never really dreamt of getting married as
my main achievement in life or getting swept away by Prince Charming -
I've always believed that a woman makes her own happiness she doesn't
need anyone else to do it for her.

However this dream was memorable as I've never recalled dreaming about
my own wedding day - and I'd have to say it was beautiful. I don't
think I'm getting old - I only turn 29 next month - is my conscious
trying to tell me to get a move on? If you could let me know what you
think that'll be great.

Ok so here's what I remember from my dream that I had the other night.
Ok so on thursday nights I usually play in a community band and there
is a guy in the same section that I am in which he appears in my dream
toward the end.  Plus I have been having some problems with a friend of
mine and I'm not sure what to do about it.

So my family and I were on a boat going somewhere and I remember there
was at one point a ton of people in the ocean and I remember one person
specifically was face down in the water with blood coming out all over
the place. No one else appeared to have died, only this one person.

The next thing I know is that we are at this guy I know's house and he
is sitting on a chair as we walked in and everything was just a mess.
There was clothing all over the place and I went to go outside, but I
woke up at this point.

I have had two separate dreams now both revolving around engagement
rings. The first dream came while I was still dating the man I am in
love with.  In that dream, my grandmother was giving my then boyfriend
my great grandmother's engagement ring and another ring for him to give
to me. In the dream he accepted the rings from my grandmother and used
them to propose to me. Those two rings are rings that my grandmother
still wears.

He and I broke up about a month ago now. I still love him and know in
my gut that things aren't over between us yet.

Last night I had another dream, this time with three rings. In the
dream, I was just trying on different engagement rings. somehow I ended
up with two rings on my left ring finger, one of which had a diamond
that dropped down in a v shape. When worn together the diamond part of
the top ring came down over the other ring. Together the plain ring
seemed to look like a home and the diamond ring seemed to be like a
gate, protecting the home.

On the other hand was a third diamond ring with three rows of small
diamonds and one large diamond in the middle.

What do you think these dreams mean?

I am a bisexual girl; the days around my dream I had been wondering why
her, my best friend back then and 2 other girls lied to me about being
bisexual and why my ex-girlfriend and my ex-best friend lied to me
about being in love with me because somehow I started remembering all
of that. We’ve returned to school and I see her but I haven't had any
dreams of her since I had this dream; also I sometime talk to my
ex-best friend but not a lot. At the moment I'm single, I've turned
down people who ask me out because I'm afraid of falling in love but I
have been having a bit of a crush on a close friend of mine which is a
girl.

She said she was bisexual at the time too but now she says she is
straight, we dated 2 years ago, and I happen to have her in a class
this high school year.

She left me for a boy, and they've been together since the first day
she broke up with me, they say they love each other a lot.

I find her staring at me sometimes during class, and I stare at her as
well. I kind of miss her, I miss the feeling loved feeling, because
I've rejected falling in love for a while because of all the pain I
went through.
In my dream we were in a class room which seemed like my Spanish class
room [we have English class together though] and I had a feeling
someone was talking in front of the class but I lost it a bit later.
I was sitting on the left side of my dream view, a boy next to me [I
know him, but rarely talk to him] in between us and then her on the
right we were sitting on desk

She was trying to get my attention but I didn't notice it, until the
boy told me and I looked at her and she waved at me in a flirting way,
I waved back confused, and some how she whispered it but I heard it
like if it wasn't a whisper I can’t recall the exact words but she said
that she wanted to go back out with me and I just shrugged and looked
away. Somehow later on we talked and I said yeah to the going back out
thing with her but I didn't see what we talked about and then I woke
up.

Can you please tell me what this means? She meant a lot to me and I
want to know why I had this dream of her, Thank you very much for

I am a comman law living mother of two boys ages eight and five. I have
been having dreams of my boyfriend having little affairs with woman
infront of me. The one that is most disturbing of all is this one here.
I was on a boat with my son that is five, and he ended up going over
board into the water. The next thing I was in a church with some of my
family members and my son appeared beside me .. I was happy at the

I have been dating a guy for a year and 3 months we are very much in
love and are just waiting for the time to be right to get engaged. I
would never cheat on him but in the past week i have had 3 dreams about
me cheating on him while he is in the room.

The first dream was with a guy that I went to school with named Adam. I
was having relations with Adam while my boyfriend was in the room. He
did not notice that we were there.

The second dream was the same but with a different guy from my past.
The same things happened.

The third dream was the same again with the same guy in as in the
second dream. But in this dream after not noticing for some time my
boyfriend finally noticed what i was doing. He got angry a looked like
he wanted to fight the guy yet didn't. He just told me he needed to buy
me new socks. And then the dream ended.

I woke up from my 3rd dream feeling very guilty.

I was wondering if you could please tell me what you think this means.

Sometimes I find that I have dreams which are broken up into segments. Each
having nothing to do with the other. I am very curious what a recent dream might
be telling me. This is the second part of the dream. I was at home,laying on the
bed with my ex-girlfriend. She was reading some kind of paper and I was reading
over her shoulder. Some things in the paper I didn't understand since they were
written in another language. I said to her I wished I had taken up Visayan (a
Filipino dialect;my ex was Filipino). Then she said something to me about some
guy named Carlos. I don't know anyone named Carlos. I wanted to ask if that was
her husband's name but I was too scared of what the answer would be. Also,my
dream self felt this vibe like maybe she and her spouse weren't together
anymore. In the dream I was so happy she was back with me,but then when I woke
up I knew it could never happen and I was really depressed knowing this.

This dream may have been an attempt to piece together what went wrong in your
last relationship.  It sounds to me that it was lack of communication.  You did
not speak her language.  This may have been true literally, but it was also true
in a figurative sense.  You didn't understand her and you feel as if you didn't
try hard enough.

Piece by piece, the analysis goes something like this:

Reading the paper over her shoulder is trying to share her interests, to be a
part of her world.  You don't understand all of it, and your response is to
voice a wish that you had learned the language.  The fact that you didn't learn
the dialect implies a lack of effort, so you are blaming yourself for the lack

Thanks. You're right about a lot of it. I know everybody says this,but when she
and I broke up that was all I could think - If only I'd done this,if only I'd
done that. I dragged my feet about a couple of things in the relationship.
Now,not one day goes by where I don't beat myself up over it. I've spent the
better part of two years trying to get her back,to no avail. On an unrelated
note,I shouldn't be surprised that it ended. When she and I were together I had
a dream one night where I saw a picture of her and some guy. I could see her
clearly,but couldn't make out the guy's face.

I hope you can help me with this. Ive been with my boyfriend, Eddie for
a year and a half now. I love him with all my heart, but I keep having
there reoccuring dreams that Im cheating on him. The dreams are always
with guys Ive either been in a relationship before or guys that Ive
talked to on an intimate level. The first dream was with a guy that I
used to talk to but I dont anymore. The second was with an ex-boyfriend
of mine Vinnie. I think Im having dreams of him because he was
unpredictable and my current boyfriend is not really spontaneous. And
in the dreams of him I felt free and careless. The last one was with
another ex that also felt like I loved. The only dream that I actually
had sex with the person was the second one with my ex Vinnie. Ive never
cheated on anyone in any relationship Ive been in. Please help me to
understand what this means because I have no idea.

I came home from work today exhausted and thought I would take a little
nap
before my work out tonight.  When I went to sleep, I dreamt that I
heard
noises, got out of bed, tried to turn the light on in my room and it
wouldn't
turn on.  I tried to turn the light on in my bathroom and it wouldn't
turn on.  I
walked next into my office, and the lights were off except for inside
my
closet, there was a light on, and a silhouette of a head that popped up
inside
my closet as if it heard that I walked in.  I got scared and headed to
my
hallway to turn the light on there.  It wouldn't turn on.  My living
room, same
thing.  At this point I realized I was asleep and needed to wake up,
so I did,
but the exact same thing happened down to the silhouette and I realized
I
was still dreaming again trapped in this.  It happened a 3rd time too.
When I
finally woke up, I had to turn on my phone and check the time, and try
to
access the internet on it to prove I was awake.  What gives?  I know in
my life
right now, I am really busy and I think I want some sort of positive
change
and to meet some new people, but what could this possibly mean?

What does it mean when you constantly dream your husband is having sex

dream this due to my husband touching my sister in her leg once and

I am currently a sophomore in college and I'm majoring in psychology.
Lately I have been thinking about and religion.

I recently had a dream that I was the angel of death. I was telling a
friend that her boyfriend was ok. I then grabbed her head and kissed
her. I was thinking that I was giving her the kiss of death. Then she
turns white and begins to wither. I hear someone refer to me as the
angel of death. I know that I am the angel of death. Then I'm
surrounded by white light and I am telling God that I can't be the
angel of death anymore. I tell him I can't keep killing people. He
tells me everything will ok. I ask him to make human. He says that
everything is taken care of and that I will fine. The next thing I
remember is that I'm back to my normal self.

What could this mean?

In my dream, I went home to find out I was getting married to my
current boyfriend the very next day.  My family was planning the entire
thing.

Well, everything was ok besides the fact that 3 of my best friends
bailed and I only had 2 bridesmaids.  The wedding was about to go on
when I was told that my boyfriend had not shown up.  He stood me up on
our wedding day.  I woke up and freaked out a little.  I immediately
woke him up and asked him if he would ever leave me at the alter.  We
have been discussing marriage a while now and I just don't understand
what this dream could mean.

Hi, im 17 and i like this one guy alot. i feel as though me and him are
a perfect fit. i dont really know if he likes me back or not, because
when i confessed to him he told me he was afraid of hurting me. but he
didnt treat me any differently the next day and im happy because of
that. its been a year already and me and him are still best friends. as
good friends as we are, me adn him can never meet up in real life.
every time when we plan to meet up, something would interupt us from
meeting the plan. so during the summer, i was very sad and felt as
though me and him arent meant to be together. i then had three
different dreams, same topic, in three different nights.

one was me adn him were in my high school and we were sitting in the
cafeteria. i was with my friends and he was with his. we saw each other
but we didnt say anything, then he came to see me, so i stood up and
walked with him to the glass door that leads outside. he went outside
first, with the door open so i can still see and feel him. he told me
'is this how it would be?' and i replied back 'yes' and he didnt say
anything, but he looked so sad. then i closed the door on him and we
both walked our seperate ways. i can feel him turning around but i
didnt. it was so sad.

my second dream took place in a classroom with him and two of my
clssmates who i dont really talk to. they were beating him up for some
reason and i dont know why. i tried to help him, but the other two were
too strong. then it shifted and i was at home, looking at my comp and
reading a blog entry written from my crush. he put that he had to
defend his 'baby'. in reality i dont know who this 'baby' is but in the
dream i was extremely happy that he was defending his 'baby'

last dream, me adn him were in this old library. it was really dark.
but i was mad and i dont know why i was mad. all he said was 'how can
you do this to me' and i said 'its your fault not mine' he then stood
up and threw away his glass of wine on the floor and muttered 'this is
BS' and walks right past me. i can feel the cold air and tears in my
eyes but i didnt stopped him.

can you explain to me why i had these weird dreams? me and him are good
friends, and even though i still love him and wish to be with him, im
happy that we're friends and can still share our moments together. so
any thoughts?

I dreamed i was in a car with my motherinlaw (she was driving)her car,
I noticed she was writing some noted on a piece of paper and not paying
attention to the road and we went off the side of a bridge and landed
on the roof in the water, i remember as we left the bridge everything
was in slow motion, needless to say i woke up and didn't go back to
sleep, now for addional info i'm surprised I was in the car at all with
my mother inlaw as we are not the best of friends even after 24 years
but are civil to one another with an attempt here and there at being
nice

Hi Peregrin,

I had another dream last night, but this time about my own death. I
dreamt that I was in the carribbean and got caught in a tsunami like
disaster. My friend was safe, at the top on land and was calling out to
me, to swim as fast as I could. I tried, but the tide was so strong,
and the giant waves just kept coming and coming, to a point where I
could no longer surface. I started to die, it felt so real, but then I
woke myself out of it before actually dying. I went back to sleep and
the dream continued, as if I had survived it, I was reading the names
of my friends who had died in this tsunami in the paper.

Hope you can help me interpret this dream as well!

I am a 60-year-old, happily married with wonderful children, and no
personal problems I'm aware of.  However, I have had two recurring
dreams throughout my life, and have always been curious of their
significance, if any...

Dream #1 Ever since I was a kid, and even occassionally now, I dream I
have the ability to fly. It is not a "to soaring hights over troubled
waters" kind of thing, but simply the fact that there is this sense,
and playing out in my dream, that if a person were able run and reach a
certain amount of speed, you would be able to become airborne to some
extent.  In dreams, it may only be a few feet off the ground like the
Wright Bros., or may be as high as to go above normal sized trees.  It
doesn't seem to be a dream of any desperation or anything else, just
simply whether or not the logic exists that someday man will be able to
realize this capacity. Others may be present when I do gain flight, or
they may not, and I resist the temptation when they are present to try
to maintain too high an altitude for too long since this is unchartered
territory (plus, I'm just not comfortable with heights).  This dream
never contains a sense of urgency or necessity, but rather seems to be
solely intellectual curiosity.

Dream #2 is more odd. It may have some bearing on my love of Medieval
Literature as a college student in the 60's, or some connection to what
I felt was a very real angel visitation at age 11.  In any event, I
have had for the past 20 years an off and on again dream of a large old
house or castle.  This dream is never unnerving, and there are two odd
aspects to it.

The first odd aspect is that the house/castle may be the main focus of
my dream, or it may only be incidental to the main thrust of my dream,
but in either case, the physical aspects of the large house/castle are
always the same.

The entry is a grand foyer with a surrounding balcony on all sides (not
the front).  From there you proceed straight back to many open living
areas, or to the right to open living areas.  These areas are of
multiple rooms and very large, filled with furniture.  In the lower
level of the house there is a theatre, with unsloped floors, and a
raised stage for performances. The theatre could seat a couple of
hundred people only.  At some point, in the back of the house, there
are stairs down to a small spa. Out back there are long stables for
horses.  The castle/house appears to be built into a clift, because at
one point I found my long deceased father standing on the lawn outside
his upper bedroom having a smoke.

This dream may occur yearly, monthly, or occassionally, multiple times
in a week.  It never seems meaningful in any way, it seems to span
centuries of time, and it may only be a brief, and seemingly
unmeaningful aspect of the dream, i.e., totally comfortable. or
conversely, all key events may take place around it, but those are
never clear, and seem ordinary.

Now here is what I think is the only odd part of this recurring dream.
Sometimes the house is a much larger version of a house we renovated
when first married. Also, at one point upon joining an old church build
in the 1700's years ago, my wife and I were taking an orientation class
as new members. I remarked to her that the main sanctuary of the church
reminded me of my "old house dream", except in my dreams I am usually
standing where the pulpit is, and there is this balcony suspended on
columns completely around the sanctuary (which it does not currently
have).

I mentioned to my wife that "Hey, this sort of reminds me of my house
dream in some ways, but no balcony."  Then, after the tour, we sat
around discussing the history of the church, and the pastor pulled out
the drawings from historical records of what the church sanctuary
looked like in the early 1700's -- amd there was the balcony and
supporting pillars exactly as I see them in my dream.

The second odd aspect of this, and pardon the length, is that we
visited our son while he was doing his senior college semester abroad
in Copenhagen. During the visit, we visited the Castle at Helsingor,
the inspiration for
Shakespeare's "MacBeth".  As we entered past the thick, 15th century
walls, we were shown the low, long horse stables, exactly like those in
my house/castle dream.

However, nothing else about the castle reminded me of anything, to be
honest.  And overall, I suspect these images of the older church and
the castle in Denmark only strike some resounding chord within my
dream, and that's probably the only explanation.

Otherwise, I am simply faacinated by these dreams because they are so
recurring, non-threatening, very consitent in nature, sometimes
incidental to the key import of the dream, and not related to any
particular moment of any personal psychological import.  But the
details are so clear, I could almost do a drawing of the layout.

The only thing I can possibly think of is that perhaps they reflect
some attempted reconcillation of what I think is my diverse/dual nature
  -- my angel dream at an early age that pushed me to want to enter the
ministry, and what I think is still a very soft and caring side I have
for all people, along with my rather large physical presence (6'4", 240
lbs who can still run 6 miles at age 60, followed by a strong physical
workout, but then would sit down and raher watch sports, prefer to
write some poetry, read the "New Yorker",  or watch the history channel
or a music/art show.)

Maybe it's just two bodies, personalities for the price of one.  If so,
I consider it a gift, but simply find these recurring dreams odd, and
although unconcerting, a constant source of fascination as to why.

I've had several dream about one of my close friends and my childhood
friend. Both of them are boys. One has been in love with me, and the
other thinks of me as a sister. I like neither of them, but I
continuously have dreams where they are fighting over me, and
physically hurting each other. In many of them, it's me and my close
friend at Home Coming, walking down the hallway. My childhood friend
comes up to me and yells things about betraying him. What exactly does
this mean?
