My '2 penceworth' from the UK

3000 US does not sound like too much to me (even when I add on
import duty, taxes, shipping etc and it gets closer to 4500).
I will certainly be knocking on your door (metaphorically speaking)
in the future, simply a matter of time !

IMHO I believe there will always be a demand for such a product,
albeit a relatively small market. The combination of the old
technology with the new for the best of both worlds (and without
compromising the antique) is a great idea. (I have a few old bikes
with modern electronic ignition tucked into the magneto - still look
ancient - but now run much better).

A key point to my mind is that the conversion (both pianos and
bikes) is reversible, i.e. none of the 'old' is irretrievably
modified.

Again IMHO - with the continuing 'nostalgia boom' (in the UK anyway)
its difficult to see pneumatic players falling out of favour
altogether.
