This list group is devoted to EM and its uses in agriculture and industry, waste, waste remediation, toxin remediation and remediation of polluted waterways. EM is a synergistic microbial culture which was developed by Dr. Teruo Higa at Univ. of Ryukus in Japan; he has repeatedly announced his intent to offer the technology freely to the world. EM is distributed via a number of channels under the names effective microorganisms, efficient microbes, beneficial and efficient microbes (BEM), beneficial microorganisms (BM), compound microorganisms CM, Vita Biosa(Denmark/Eur) and several other names. EM may be used both aerobically and anaerobicaly and has some very powerful syntropic, regenerative, antioxidative and deodorizing properties.
