Currently only Atlas, Sirius, EQ5 and EQ6 mounts with SynScan capability are supported. Newer non-goto mounts are also supported provided they only need an upgraded controller to obtain goto capability.
The EQMOD Project is dedicated to optimizing the control of EQ mounts through the development of a free and open source PC
based EQASCOM driver that provides a rich set of 'enhanced' mount
control functions. Communications to the mount are via RS232 and
require either RS232-TTL converter or connection to a V3.21 (or later)
Synscan hand controller operating in 'PC Remote' mode.
