"New Energy: The Courage to Change"
public conference in Portland, OR
Sept. 25-26

New Energy Movement is hosting a 2-day public conference in Portland, Oregon
on September 25-26 at Reed College and Portland State University.

The theme of this conference is "New Energy: The Courage to Change", and
will serve
to educate the mainstream public about new energy technologies which have
gone unreported by the mainstream media, while stimulating an active
dialogue about the implications... environmental, economic, geopolitical,
and health-related.

These technologies go far beyond the conventional renewable technologies of
solar, wind, geothermal, biomass, and wave power, and demonstrate the
promise of delivering freedom from our dependence on oil and nuclear power.

New Energy Movement seeks to mobilize concerned and motivated citizens into
a vital grassroots force which can finally break the inertia of our current
destructive and unsustainable energy paradigm.

Portland Mayor Vera Katz enthusiastically supports these efforts. All of the
United States Senators, Congressmen, and state governors have been
personally invited to participate in this unprecedented event.

There is a very high level of media and public interest in this timely
gathering. Every breathing human has a stake in the outcome of our joint
efforts to quickly deploy clean energy technologies on a global scale.

Conference information can be found at
