I think that's a good idea about just using 1.1j. I'm sure the objects I'm most
interested in (planets and the major stars and galaxies), at least for the near
future, are still in about the same places they were 10 years ago. I think I'll
just fire up the scope, calibrate it for where I am now, and try it out. I'll
collect the cables as I can and work with them later.
