I think we can excuse ourselves for being a little late with the
election of officers since this is the first time it has arisen. I
have copied two sections of the bylaws, one stating the positions that
we "may" fill. The first four are a necessity. I think we can work a
ballot by email and accomplish the voting. We should shoot for
completing this in a couple of months with the new officers assuming
their positions at the first of the year. I would like to request a
volunteer to take nominations, including self nominations. As an
alternative, you can send the names to Anthony, our secretary.
Section 3. The Executive Committee, in which the governance of the
Chapter shall be vested, may consist of the following positions:
1. The President
2. The Vice President
3. The Secretary
4. The Treasurer
5. The Fundraising Chair
6. The Membership Coordinator
7. The Communications Officer
8. The Project Coordinator
9. The Programs Coordinator
10. The Past President of the Chapter (ex-officio)
Section 5. The term of office of the members of the Executive
Committee shall be one year. This term shall begin on the first day of
September and shall continue for the period above mentioned, or until
a successor is duly selected.
