Engineers Without Borders-Princeton University is looking to implement
a new project this summer on a water distribution system in
Huamanzaña, La Libertad, Peru. We have been working with this village
since the summer of 2005, completing projects dealing with a bathroom
system, a solar energy system, and improved cooking stoves. We are
planning an assessment trip for the last week of January (our
Intercession Break) to prepare for an implementation trip this summer
(most likely for the month of August). Our project is in its very
early stages, and we are currently in search of a mentor. We are
looking to have a formal selection process over the next few weeks,
accepting resumes and conducting interviews. The EWB-USA website lists
your chapter as having a water distribution project, and we would love
to have the guidance of someone with experience in this area. If there
is anyone in your chapter who may be interested in this project,
please give them my contact information. I would be more than happy to
provide more information or answer any questions you may have. Thank
you for your time, and I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely yours,
Meghan McNulty
