I'm making a first person shoot out, type of game. I need help with the source code.
Which should I use  c++ or java? I was going to ues c++. I know the how to write simple programs, but not an actual game. Maybe you could help me.  
 And no, I live in New York.

Well, you probably want to use C++. Java would give you some portability options but the graphics would not be good. Also what platform do you want to write...
