"Hi my name is Stephanie B. and i was reading your review of the
Evanescence Concert at the Avalon. I am a huuge Atomship fan and I
just wanted to let you know that their song is called "Pencil Fight"
not "Scissor Fight" and its not a cover. Also you actually mentioned
me in your review. I was the girl that the vocalist of Atomship, Joey
Culver, signed. He wrote: "JIMMY, I LOVE YOUR GFRIEND -JOEY"
then "I'VE BEEN HERE" with an arrow pointing down. When I read this
review, it absolutely made my day!!! I was so excited to see that
people actually remembered me!! I am a huge Evanescence fan also. My
friends and I ended up taking home the two blow-up palm trees that
were on stage and I got a Default guitar pick. It was such an amazing
show, I can't wait until they come around again. Thank you for taking
the time to read this!"
I got this nice note from Stephanie. She gave me permission to post
it, but I cut out part of her last name just in case. Anyway, I was
really shocked and surprised to get this e-mail. The concert had been
so long ago I doubted anybody would be reading my write-up, least of
all, somebody that was actually in the write-up! This goes to show
that the internet REALLY does make the world small! If your curious,
she is still with her boyfriend. He sounds like a good guy.
That was a really great concert. I had actually looked up the lyrics
on Atomship's website later, which is when I realized it was
different. At the time, it reminded me of Megalomaniac by Incubus
from their 'A Crow Left of the Murder' album.
