OK, I've had a dribble of comments so far, and have already had some good
ideas.

for those confused ones, here it is simply for THIS week.

2. when you mail it to your lists, put this address in the BCC so I get a
copy.

this account is ONLY for swap verifies. don't write to me here.
there's no need to put anything in the subject to distinguish it, as it's
not a separate mail to me. it's just a BCC of your regular mailing.

3. instead of running ads twice a month, we'll do it once a week. too many
folks want more, so we'll give us all more.

4. I'll be coming up with a bunch of ads for separate categories. that way
you'll have a selection of ads you may use for the different weeks.
I'll let you know next week about them.

that's the simple stuff out of the way. if you want more explanation, read
on.

we are all now used to promoting 1 to 7 ads each week in our lists. those
were for individual lists. you were only getting promotion back from JUST
the lists you were promoting that week. that's a small base of members
being promoted to each week.

the new system has ALL the members from ALL the lists now looking at once
for new lists. so from a possible couple thousand members seeing your ad,
now there will be a possible HUNDRED thousand members looking at your ad
each week. that's the big difference.

there WILL be more categories. I've had some good suggestions so far. if
your ad is in a category you think is wrong....let me know and i'll change
it. do send along other category ideas.

I will also ROTATE the ads in EACH category every other week. the bottom ad
on the page will be moved to the TOP of the page. so your location will
constantly be moving around on the page so everyone will get top exposure
for two weeks at a time.

for the categories with multiple pages, the pages will be changed around
every two weeks. so if there is two pages of Mature jokes, the Page 1 and
Page 2 will change places on the rotation.

there will be a page for NEW lists. a new list will be in that category, as
well as the appropriate category it belongs in, for a month.
