DEBI METCALFE, FOUNDER OF STOLEN HORSE INTERNATIONAL, TO BE SPEAKING
AT THE PENNSYLVANIA WORLD HORSE EXPO IN HARRISBURG, FEBRUARY 26-
MARCH 1 2009
Shelby, NC - Debi Metcalfe, founder of Stolen Horse International,
will be speaking about horse fraud, identification, theft, and what
to do if you are a victim at the World Horse Expo in Harrisburg, PA,
February 26-March 1, 2009 at the Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg.
You can join Metcalfe at her at her booth, or at her educational
seminar at 3:00 on Saturday at the four-day production which will
feature more than 40 clinicians and over a hundred demonstrations and
lectures.
A native of North Carolina, Metcalfe has been a victim of horse theft
herself. In 1998, Metcalfe's horse, Idaho, was stolen from her
backyard. At the time there was no such organization as Stolen Horse
International to help victims of any type of thievery. Over a course
of a year, Metcalfe's persistent dedication led to her finding Idaho
52 weeks later in Etowah, Tennessee. From this experience, Metcalfe
founded Stolen Horse International, also known as NetPosse.com.
Metcalfe, with the help of NetPosse volunteers, has since help
recover hundreds of stolen horses, tack and trailers within the
United States and internationally. She and NetPosse.com, has been
featured in countless TV shows, newspapers and magazines. Her
website has even been used on America Most Wanted and The Maury Show
because of SHI's ties to a missing child investigation.
At her booth you will find her book, Horse Theft, Been There—Done
That, microchips and other theft prevention items.
Come join Metcalfe and other clinicians that include Craig Cameron,
Matt McLaughlin, Bob Jefferys, Suzanne Sheppard and Tommy Garland,
just to name a few .Vendors will fill more than 500 booths and
180,000 square feet of exhibit space with an overwhelming selection
of horse related merchandise. Friday and Saturday nights, February 27
& 28, the expo will present Theatre Equus, A Musical Equine Revue, a
two hour show geared to all ages
Stolen Horse International is an organization whose purpose is to
