*** WARNING *** This is crucial info for Paint Horse owners in Miama, Florida,
but the info is disturbing!

NetPosse has received information from law enforcement and private citizens that
PAINT HORSES are being STOLEN in MIAMI, FLORIDA. The pattern shows that paint
horses are deliberately being targeted ... but they are not the only stolen
horses in the area! However, we need to make paint horse owners aware of this so
that they can be PRO ACTIVE in protecting their horses. This is a horrible
notice to post, but it must be done ...

From one officer in Miami 3/8/09: ... a horse was stolen on 2/27; the horse was
located on 3/5/09. It apparently was walked down the street to private property
and slaughtered. The owner bless her heart was on scene when I arrived. The
media was also on scene ... I was wondering have you ever encountered Paint
horses being used for any rituals or sacrifices. I have noticed the horses that
we have located slaughtered are all paints coincidence I don't think so. This is
the first horse that was found where it could be identified by the owner.

From a horse owner with a missing paint 3/3/09: We are having a real problem
down here in the Redlands with stolen horses. The head and hooves show up in
plastic garbage bags on the dirt roads. These thieves don't even make an effort
to conceal their horrible deeds. (believe the meat is processed and sold by the
pound)

This information is not being shared to scare horse owners ... but if you have a
paint and do not know that horse theft still exists and could happen to you or
you have not done everything you can to protect your horse from theft, please go
