This group is for anyone with hens from Lincs Little Hens, Cambs Hen Rescue, Free at Last, Little Hen Rescue Limited, HR-UK, BHWT or anywhere else or if you just have an interest in keeping ex commercial laying hens as pets and would like to do more research by chatting to us who have taken the plunge. Ex battery and ex barn hens come from horrendous conditions and are discarded at less that 18 months old. More and more people want to save these ladies from certain death and have eggs from their own happy, healthy hens.
