Happy New Year to all Institute members and supporters. I'm very pleased to begin 2006 with some exciting announcements for the Exopolitics Institute.
First Expansion of the Board of Directors
I'm very pleased to announce on behalf of the Board of Directors that Paola Harris has been approved to be included as a new Director for the Institute. Paola's inclusion formally begins the expansion process for the Board of Directors to be undertaken in 2006. Having known Paola for nearly two years I can say that her standards of professionalism and ethics will provide a firm foundation for the Institute and help the Institute confidently move forward as it gains more public prominence. Paola has been working in the UFO field for almost 30 years and directly worked with leading researchers such as Dr Allen Hynek and is on familiar terms with many of the leading Ufology researchers. Her list of interviews with researchers, whistleblowers and experiencers spans the spectrum of the most celebrated cases in UFOlogy/exopolitcs, and many of these are found in her book Connecting the Dots. More recently, from her base in Rome, Paola has been a driving force in the growth of Exopolitics in Italy. Her inclusion as a Director will ensure that the Institute grows in the direction of being a truly international organization. Paola's vision and networks will attract more talented researchers and personnel that can help the Institute achieve success in a number of initiatives that are being contemplated. Planning for a Diploma in Exopolitics
One of the exciting initiatives that is emerging is a possible Diploma in Exopolitics where a number of online courses are offered through the Institute. I am working with Paola Harris and Rebecca Hardcastle, PhD to create a listing of courses that will help promote the study of exopolitics. We are looking to formally beginning this educative program in Fall of 2006 . This will be a means of introducing the Exopolitics concept to a larger international audience and will involve a collaborative effort between some of the leading educators in Exopolitics. Currently, I have taught two online course in exopolitics with another in the pipeline which will be included in the selection of courses that will be available for all interested in a Diploma in Exopolitics. ET Civilizations and World Peace Conference
Planning for the forthcoming Extraterrestrial Civilizations and World Peace conference is proceeding well with almost all speakers confirmed and the conference venue booked. Speakers include a retired Ambassador, a Brigadier General, a Navy Commander, and other former military officers and a number of leading exopolitical/UFO researchers, and experiencers. The conference will be held on the Big Island of Hawaii from June 9-11, 2006 and you can learn more about the confirmed speaker list of 16 at www.etworldpeace.com .
Exopolitics Journal
The next edition of the Exopolitics Journal is currently in the midst of the production process and is scheduled to be published online by the middle of January. You can look forward to some exciting exopolitical articles on Col Philip Corso, "Exoconsciousness", "Nuclear technology and exopolitics", and interviews with Clifford Stone and Steven Greer. Exopolitics Institute will be represented in Washington DC.
Another recent Institute developments is that Steve Basset has agreed to formally represent the Institute as its Washington DC lobbyist which will help raise the profile and outreach activities of the Institute. The Institute looks forward to working more closely with Steve in the months ahead in a number of exopolitical initiatives. The above are just some of the initiatives underway at the Institute so I look forward to a big year. I am very thankful for all the support and advise of all those that have joined the Exopolitics Institute and enabled the Institute to move forward in its foundation year.
