[Feb 9, 2006, Kealakekua, Hawaii] Are space weapons being developed for
possible use against what the U.S. military secretly views as an
‘extraterrestrial enemy’? According to a former university professor who
taught international politics at two prestigious American universities in
Washington D.C, this indeed is happening. In an article just released in a
popular international journal, Nexus Magazine, Dr Michael Salla, analyses
the development of space weapon policies in a number of U.S Presidential
administrations. He describes how extraterrestrials have been depicted as
‘the enemy’ according to a number of highly credentialed sources.
Dr Salla examines the contrasting positions taken by an ex-Canadian Defense
Minister and a former U.S. military intelligence officer, Lt Col. Philip
Corso, on the desirability of using space weapons against extraterrestrial
civilizations. Dr Salla argues that Corso depicted extraterrestrials as ‘the
enemy’; a view that Corso contended has strong support within the military
and political establishment in ‘the loop’ about visiting extraterrestrial
civilizations. This contrasts with Paul Hellyer, who while Canada’s Minister
for defense took a position of opposition to Canada’s possible cooperation
in the Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty supported by the Johnson
administration. Hellyer has recently emerged to publicly declare that the
possible targeting of extraterrestrials by space weapons is among the
“profoundly important policy questions that must be addressed.”
Dr Salla’s article appears is the Feb-March 2006 edition of Nexus Magazine
(vol 13:2) www.nexusmagazine.com and a pre-publication version is available
online at: http://www.exopolitics.org/Study-Paper-10-Nexus.pdf
The Hon. Paul Hellyer will be the keynote speaker at a forthcoming
conference sponsored by the Exopolitics Institute a non-profit organization
based in Kealakekua, Hawaii. More information is available at:
