Aloha all, I'm pleased to announce that the April edition of the Exopolitics
Journal is now available online at:
www.exopoliticsjournal.com . The journal begins with three research
articles. The first is by Eric Julien who discusses whether humanity
constitutes a threat to extraterrestrial civilizations by virtue of the
effects of nuclear weapons testing. He discusses the research of a number of
French UFO researchers in terms of the correlation between UFO sightings and
nuclear testing. He also studies the correlation between UFO
crash/retrievals and nuclear testing. Eric Julien turns the common view that
visiting extraterrestrials pose a security threat to humanity on its head,
and discusses in an insightful manner the true motivation for why
extraterrestrial civilizations are visiting humanity.
The second research article is by Dr James Deardorff who provides a
quantitative framework for assessing the genuineness of 'contactee
testimonies'. Modifying a framework introduced by Robert Wood in Majic Eyes
Only for evaluating testimonies concerning UFO crash/retrievals, Dr
Deardorff provides a means for arriving at a probability value for contactee
'genuineness' based on various categories of available evidence. Dr
Deardorff's paper provide a rigorous quantitative framework for assessing
contactee claims and will be welcomed by those wanting to more seriously
consider the claims by a number of contactees with substantial evidence to
support their claims.
The third research article is the second part of an article in the previous
edition of the Journal that analyses Col Corso and his critics. The article
identifies a further six key criticisms made against Corso and
systematically goes through each to determine their
validity. The article also assesses the motivations of Corso's critics by
again distinguishing between objective criticism and debunking. My
conclusion provides some recommendations for steps to take in considering
the Corso case and the criticisms raised by three veteran UFO researchers.
The Journal also contains two interviews. The first is an interview of
Command Sgt Major Robert Dean who emerged in 1991 with claims that he
witnessed a Cosmic Top Secret NATO study called The Assessment. His claims
generated much interest in the UFO community and led to criticism on the
basis of alleged inconsistencies in his testimony. In this interview, Robert
Dean responds to recent criticisms by clarifying exactly what occurred when
he worked at NATO Supreme Headquarters Operations Center. In my view, this
article sets the record straight by removing some erroneous perceptions
about Robert Dean and the Assessment, and justifies renewed consideration of
his claims.
The second is an interview of the former Canadian Minister for Defense, the
Hon Paul Hellyer, by Paola Harris, M.Ed., where Paul Hellyer discusses his
recent emergence into UFO arena and why he believes that a government
cover-up exists concerning
UFOs and visiting extraterrestrials. In particular, he focuses on key policy
questions concerning the designation of extraterrestrials
as 'enemy aliens', and why citizens should be concerned about this and
recent US steps towards weaponizing space.
There is finally a book review of Bill Hamilton's, Project Aquarius. In this
book, he provides a detailed analysis of the evidence
supporting a whistleblower whose case has recently led to much controversy,
'Dr Dan Burisch'. Bill Hamilton gives a coherent account of the main
elements in the Burisch case, and provides sufficient evidence to suggest
that it has much merit. The Burisch case is a fascinating account of an
alleged whistleblower's experiences in the secure S-4 facility, and Bill
Hamilton succeeds in making a cogent argument for why the Burisch case
should be taken seriously by those seeking to understand the true agendas
behind covert projects involving extraterrestrial biological entities.
