Cylinder Mother–ships Are Back,

       Expect More Sightings.

This week’s files cover: Huge Mother-Ships May Indicate Extraterrestrial Life, Astronaut and Mars  photos show Mother-ships.

Unidentified Aerial Phenomena were spotted over: Arkansas, California, Florida, Illinois, Hawaii, Kentucky, Maine, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Rhode Island, and Pennsylvania.   UFOs were also seen in Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Estonia, Italy, Mexico, Poland, and Scotland.

These Files assume that extraterrestrial intelligent life not only exists, but my hypothesis is that the over one hundred UFOs reported each week represent technologically advanced spacecraft conducting surveillance of Earth. I personally became interested in UFOs when I chased one over England when flying for the US Air Force. I've been investigating them ever since.  The US Air Force under Project Blue Book investigated UFOs for more than twenty years, we continue this research. Our goal is to uncover the secrets of UFOs. We are continuing the investigation and make the assumption we are not alone in the universe. Based on the large number of sightings we can assume the watchers have bases on Earth for thousands of years. "The Scientific Study of UFOs for the benefit of humanity".The Best is Yet to Come.

Huge Mother-ships Indicate Extraterrestrial Life

Reports of large, cigar or cylinder shaped, aircraft carrier sized UFOs also known, as 'Motherships' appear to have started as early as 1870, with a wave of sightings in 1896-7 with sightings throughout the Midwest United States.

A wave of sightings was reported over England in 1909. During World War I hardly a night would go by without numerous reports of German Zeppelin activity over the UK, but the Germans only had one Naval Zeppelin and five Army airships in service when war was declared. Historian Dr. David Clarke claims that within a few months most of the Zeppelins had been destroyed or wrecked. German records reveal Zeppelin activity was very limited anywhere near the UK, yet pilots and other military personnel reported thousands of sightings of huge cylinder shaped airships over England.

Captain Stansfield of the trawler SS Ape and many of his crew on December 15, 1914, reported sighting a black airship. After the war airship records were read and all German airships were in their hangars due to bad weather. On September 6, 1914, Flight Commander C. E. Rathborne of the Felixstowe Naval Air Station, Suffolk, returned from an early morning patrol in his seaplane to make perhaps the first report of a UFO by a military officer. "At 5:35 AM, whilst on patrol, I sighted an airship steering south-southeast, with a silver-colored envelope on the horizon while flying at 1,300 feet, 27 miles south of Orfordness." Scottish Command Intelligence estimated the total number of reports of "enemy signaling" to be as high as 2,000 during 1914 alone. By January 31, 1916, nine Naval Zeppelins had been built and were ordered to bomb central England.

The Zeppelin scares and rumors generated thousands of reports of phantom airships that, based on their records, seldom ever flew near England.

Based on the descriptions of cylinder shaped craft, it appears many of the reports may have been Mothership UFOs. Often English pilots would pursue the zeppelins across the sky but they had little chance of catching them. The zeppelins would be at a considerable altitude and the Zeppelin's cruising speed was often comparable to that of the aeroplane chasing it. To make matters worse, if a pilot did manage to catch up to the airship, the zeppelins were bristling with machine guns.

The British National Archives has a World War II report discovered by UFO researchers David Clark and Andy Roberts from RAF 61 Squadron. Aircraft Commander ‘J,’ Captain W/O Lever reports, “The object was seen by the entire crew of the above aircraft during raid on TURIN, the night of November 28/29th, 1942. They believe it to have been 200-300 feet in length and its width is estimated at 1/5th or 1/6th of its length. The speed was estimated at 500 mph, and it had four pairs of red lights spaced at equal distances along its body. These lights did not appear in any way like exhaust flames; no trace was seen. The object kept a level course.

The crew saw the object twice during the raid and brief details are given below. After bombing, time 2240 hours, aircraft height 11,000 feet. The aircraft at this time was some 10/15 miles southwest of Turin traveling in a northwesterly direction. The object was traveling southeast at the same height or slightly below the aircraft. After bombing, time 2245 hours, a/c height 14,000 feet. The aircraft was approaching the Alps when the object was seen again traveling west-southwest up a valley in the Alps below the level of the peaks. The lights appeared to go out and the object disappeared from view.”

“The captain reports that he saw a similar object three months ago North of Amsterdam. In this instance it appeared to be on the ground and later traveling at high speed at a lower level than the heights given above along the coast for about two seconds; the lights then went out for the same period of time and came on again, and the object was still seen to be traveling in the same direction.”

British author Nick Redfern states, British Military records reveal that a fleet of flying discs -- called 'Foo Fighters' -- were launched from huge cigar-shaped Mothercraft during B-17 daylight raids over Germany in 1943. The huge aircraft-carrier sized Mothership cut through a flight of B-17 bombers launching its discs in front of the B-17 amazed aircrews.

During the 1950s and 1960s so called Mother-ships were seen in fairly large numbers. These are exceptionally large craft usually cylinder or cigar shaped craft although some are reported to be disc shaped. The Mother-ships are essentially modern-day aircraft carriers. 

They are usually described as being hundreds to thousands of feet in length, and were often reported launching smaller disc shaped craft. The operations were similar in size and complexity to launches and recovery of craft like our own aircraft carriers.  Usually these operations would be seen in the early evening with recovery of the scout discs occurring later in the evening. The scout disc craft apparently carried out abduction operations, scavenging for food and minerals.  The disc shaped craft have often been reported above power lines or power stations.  We can speculate that they are able to recharge their propulsion systems using electrical power.  Occasionally, these operations cause power outages. These Mother-ships suggest an extraterrestrial origin for such large craft.

Mars Images Suggest Life

Russian Colonel Dr. Maria Popovitch whose husband Pavel is a general and cosmonaut claims, "The last transmissions from the Soviet Phobos 2 satellite was an image of a gigantic cylindrical Mother-ship photographed on 25 March 1989.

After that last frame was transmitted to Earth, the probe mysteriously disappeared. One transmission showed an oblong like a marquise shaped shadow on the surface of Mars. According to Dr. John Becklake of the London Science Museum the shadow is something that is between the spacecraft and Mars. He stressed that the object was seen by both the optical and the infrared (heat seeking) cameras. The spindle shadow is inconsistent with any possible shadow cast by the moon Phobos and is similar to a giant, hovering cylinder- shaped mother craft.

Cylinder craft are also being observed flying over the Mar's Rovers on a fairly regular basis.

Alabama Strange Object Caught On Video

Satsuma -- Back on December 2, 2006, I was out in the back yard with the dogs. They were playing so I decided to carry my video camera and catch some video of them. I walked back to the NE corner of the yard where I stood under a overhanging oak limb which blocked the morning sun from my eyes. It was around 10:30 am and the sun was not quite due south of my position. Upon blocking the sun by the oak tree an object became apparent in the sky. It was about 15 degrees east of the sun and 45 degrees up. I quickly grabbed my camera and took the video which I am attaching to this report. It was a clear day and no sound was heard. The sight lasted about 1 1/2 minutes. At that point I lost visual of the object. I'm just glad I had my camera with me.

Arkansas Colonel Reports Lights 'Not of this World'

Van Buren -- A retired Air Force colonel who photographed mysterious, colorful lights hovering over western Arkansas last week "I believe these lights were not of this world, and I feel a duty and responsibility to come forward," said Col. Brian Fields, who spent nearly 32 years in the military piloting F-16 fighter jets states, "I have no idea what they were." Fields, 61, was cooking on January 9 when just before 7 PM, he observed two intensely bright lights as he looked to the southeast close to the horizon. They hung in the sky for ten minutes or more. Officials now claim the lights were military flares.

Editor's Note. They may have been flares, but Col. Fields as a member of the 188th Fighter Wing must have seen many during his career. "I'm certain it wasn't an aircraft from earth," said fields, who also ruled out the possibility of flares, but it seems an F-16 pilot would know what they look like.Airborne Laser Continues testing

California Bright Light and Investigation (Photos)

Clearlake Oaks  -- I was walking past my dinning room window when I noticed a very bright light over the hills to the west of  the hills of Clearlake Oak on January 24, 2007 Time: 5:PM.  I went outside to check it out and it was moving from the west to east coming closer, actually in my direction just a little north of my house. And as it got closer it zoomed way up in the sky in a blink of an eye. It went from being about 1500 to 2000 feet up to at least 30,000 feet, maybe more. It was just a speck to my eye then. Pittsburg -- Steve Reichmuth, Northern California MUFON, investigated the 6:55 PM, sighting on January 15, 2007 of two bright, reddish orange lights moving slow above Highway 4, and turning west very slowly. Some of the witness used binoculars. I did a through investigation personally interviewing the witnesses (eight persons in total) on the Pittsburg case.  I interviewed the witnesses at their home for three hours on January 19, 2007. Drawings were done by the witnesses, too.  I am classifying this case in MUFON CMS as a true 'Unknown'.  Excellent witnesses all.  All witnesses agree in their independent testimonies.  Hawaii Cylinder UFO Seen Over South Shore

Honolulu -- Andrew Pereira's writes, "Its hard to draw a surfer's attention away from the next wave, but whatever was in the southwest sky Friday evening, January 26, 2007, around 6:20 PM, drew a crowd along Kewalo Basin and Ala Moana Beach Park.  Honolulu resident Peter Hollingworth described what he and many others saw as two lights circling in the sky, about 45 degrees above the horizon. Video of one of the lights was recorded from the KHON 2 SkyCam. “These two little fireballs with a stream behind it,” said Hollingworth. “Looked kind of like a shooting star but it just kept going. They changed directions a few times, at first it was coming in then it turned, then it went out then it came back in again." Hollingworth was surfing with his 12 year old son when the unexpected show began.

“I was a little concerned. I told him come over and sit with me - this might be the last surf session we ever have together because this thing's coming straight for Honolulu. It looked deadly to me."  The National Weather Service says nothing showed up on their radar at the time of the sighting and the FAA didn't report anything unusual. The U.S. military conducted a missile defense test off Kauai Friday evening but the test didn't begin until 7:20 PM. “This in a sense is an unidentified flying object,” said University of Hawaii astronomy professor Gareth Wynn-Williams. “It's something in the sky that's moving that we haven't identified.” snip Thanks to KHON 2 http://www.khon2.com/home/ticker/5387746.html

Illinois UFO Sighting!

O'HARE Airport – NUFORC Director Peter B Davenport reports he has spoken to, "An actual, original witness to the O'Hare Airport UFO sighting and has confirmed the photos being passed around the Internet are NOT what was seen. The photos that have come forward almost certainly have nothing to do with the original sighting over O'Hare. Kentucky Sphere with Yellowish Green Lights

BOWLING GREEN -- I was looking at the clouds on my sidewalk when my parents came out and I saw a metallic object in the sky.  I noticed it out of the corner of my eye because I saw a bright shine on it from the sun and I turned and this is what I saw.  It was very very low to the ground, it was a sphere with yellowish green lights around the side and a red glowing sphere on the bottom. I thought it was a plane but I knew it was not human. I saw that it was going about 90 mph but slowed down.   I blinked, it was gone.   I looked around and did not see or hear anything after or during the event. I was petrified believe it! Then, I went inside and told my sister and did not think too much about it, but I couldn't believe it disturbs me and I am shaking thinking about it while reporting it now.  Thanks to MUFON CMS

Maine Silver Oval Shaped Craft

Anson – Brian Vike HBCC UFO reports, "I telephoned the gentleman over his sighting on January 21, 2007 and had a wonderful conversation with the man. He also told me he has had some missing time experiences and his story was really amazing to say the least.

Three witnesses spotted an oval shaped object over a small pond at the intersection of RT. 234 and the Horseback Road in a rural area of Maine about six miles from the nearest town. My former fiancé Olivia, who was driving, her mother Helen, and I were headed to the town of Anson, as we took a right turn onto the horseback road, Helen, who rarely curses, said loudly, "What the hell is that!" She was sitting in the rear drivers side seat. I was in the passenger seat. Olivia stopped the vehicle , and I looked out the drivers window.

Sitting perfectly still in the sky was a huge, about 300 feet long, silver oval shaped something!  It looked to be less than 1000 feet away and was about 50 feet thick. The top of this thing had a reddish glow, and the whole thing had markings or corrugations on it, it reminded me of the old Jiffypop popcorn dome. This thing made no noise and did not move while we were watching. There were no control surfaces or any kind of cabin or gondola visible, and I could see the entire length of it, no ropes or wires either. The vehicle remained running and no electrical disturbance was noticed.  After about three minutes Oliva's vehicle started rolling, a small stand of evergreens blocked our view for about ten seconds and when we could see the sky again the thing was gone.

The next day, I drove past the little pond and noticed a round hole in the ice, where the thing was hovering. I also noticed a rash on the side of my body that burned and itched for several days, it also hurt, like I had been kicked. I talked to people in the area about this sighting and one friend said that he and his sister saw something just like it at the same location three years before. Others have seen different things also. I have also had multiple sightings  at different times as well as 2 incidents with missing time, I will post these later. New Hampshire Huge UFO sighting

EXETER -- Adam Dolge writes, “There was something odd in the sky last week, something that caused a Navy veteran with 10,000 hours of flight experience to have his own close encounter. The former flight engineer, who wished to be identified only as "David," said of the experience, "this was like nothing I've ever seen before." What the retired Navy chief petty officer said he saw on July 20, 2005, could only be classified as a UFO, an unidentified flying object. It was a bright and sunny afternoon, about 3:15 p.m., and David was outside and at bottom of his glass he saw a large cigar-shaped object hovering in the sky. David said windows were equally spaced around the object, however he didn't see anyone or anything inside. The size of the object was enormous. He said it was about the size of two USS Nimitz aircraft carriers.

. "But, the instant I put my glass down, I said, 'that's not a blimp.'" The object moved from west to east, very slowly for something that size, he said. His initial instinct was that the object was moving at about 100 knots, but something that big shouldn't be able to stay in the air if it's going that slow, he said. New Jersey Cylinder

CAMDEN – I was with a crowd of friends attending the fireworks display in Westville on August 6, 2006, my wife's 50th birthday. We were all sitting on lawn chairs along the shores of the Back Bay Lagoon, just off the Delaware River. The overcast was very thick and only 400 feet. At 9 PM, I could hear an airplane directly overhead on approach to Philadelphia International Airport just across the river. I was scanning the skies waiting for the boat show to start when I saw a cigar shaped object descend through the overcast, only for a couple seconds, then it ascended back into the overcast. The object looked like it had around 4 or 5 oval port holes and it was white in appearance. I could not see any wings or running lights and I do not see how any planes would be allowed in the terminal control area heading north flying in the overcast, that would be a recipe for disaster. There was no noise and one of our friends also saw the strange object.

New Mexico Cylinder

Albuquerque -- On January 24, 2007, I was walking my dog just a few yards to the south of Skyline Road at 9:13 AM, and happened to look up and saw an aero plane without wings. It was traveling in a Northeast to Southwest direction at about 15,000 feet. The weather was very clear with no clouds in sight. As I watched to see if I could see the wings, the object disappeared. Once again, NO CLOUDS or anything else to obstruct my view. There was no discernable sound coming from the object. A Southwest Airlines jet was taking off from Albuquerque  Airport and was swinging around to head on a Northwest heading. I

did not see any lights associated with the object and it looked like a fuselage of dull gray with no wings. It did not reflect the sunlight, which was very bright at the time. The other thing I remember was that it appeared to be starting to bank to the South and that is why I was looking for shadows of wings or a tail when it "disappeared" from full view, still at my 11:00 position. Thanks to MUFON CMS www.mufon.com

 North Carolina Very Large Object and Fireball

Wilkesboro-- On January 17, 2007, I could see a very, very large object with two large lights on the front of it, that would remind you of a light on a commercial train. At 9:00 PM, when the object passed in front of me, it was a brownish-rust color. The metal on the outside of the object was not smooth. It had a rough siding, that was brownish-rust in color, with a very low sound coming from it. When it passed by me the trees blocked my view and I went inside my house, because I was shocked by what I had just witnessed. PS: I couldn't make out the shape, but, it appeared to be like a rectangular shape as it approached in my direction. Clear Skies. Visibility 10 Miles.

High Point -- At 7:52 pm, on January 24, 2007, I was outdoors talking on a cell phone and began noticing a distant, but very strong white and slightly yellowish light due north.  My first impression was that it was a flare, that was moving very slowly. It was just above a distant tree line. The object's direction of flight was 125-130 degrees, and was the brightest object I have ever seen in the sky at any time in my life.  It's brightness and its slow movement were the two outstanding characteristics I noticed. After several seconds, a short streak began to form behind the object, then a sizable section of the object slowly broke away and trailed just behind the main body. Very small portions of the object began to break away forming the streak.  After only a few seconds more, it all disintegrated in the night sky.  Total viewing time was perhaps 15 seconds or more.  It actually reminded me of an aircraft on fire from a missile, but the light was burning way too brightly, it seemed, and was not flickering or descending very much.  I have seen an aircraft shot down by a missile, before, and I do not believe this to be the case.  I am left with the impression that this was an unusually slow meteor--or a UFO that ran into serious trouble.  Whatever it was, it was a rare sight.  Thanks to Alan Caviness - Independent Investigator - Carolina Group Research Project 

 Ohio Disc Spotted and Cylinder

Cleveland --The Cleveland Ufology Project reports, "Dave who works off Tyler Boulevard saw a UFO on January 3, 2007, at 12:00 noon. It was up northeast of my position no more than two miles away and no higher than 1500 feet. I look up all the time because I've seen UFO's before. There was a blue sky background with some high clouds and coming from the west was slowly rotating on it's side, a metallic looking disk, moving no faster than 10 mph going south. It was just north of Route 2 but in between 306 and 615.  I saw it for ten minutes. I no longer saw it after coming out the other side of McDonald's Drive through.  NO noise that I could hear. Lost Nation Airport has small plains flying all of the time landing and taking off, so I know the difference, It was not a balloon, kite, bird, blimp, temp inversion, weather phenomenon, etc.. Oregon Cylindrical Object

Eugene -- I was running due southwest along a path off 11th Street on January 22, 2007, when I spotted an unusual structure about 1,500 to 2,00 feet or so in the sky moving slowly in a generally southern direction at 5:15 PM.  It was black, round, approximately the size of a large airliner, but shaped differently. Another object appeared to dangle from the back of it that looked almost like another circular UFO, but much smaller. Several times it appeared to catch up with the larger object and meld into it, then re-emerge. At that height and apparent distance it might, of course, have been circling the larger object.  I also saw what appeared to be another object leave the first and fly southwest ahead of the object.

 I stayed to watch the slowly moving object (that at times appeared to accelerate and hover for about ten minutes), then continued my run back home. When I left it was still moving south-west but somewhat faster. I am sure it was not a conventional aircraft, a helicopter, a bird or balloon, but was some kind of self-propelled round, cylindrical-shaped device.  What the main larger object was or the smaller ones were, I cannot specifically identify.  One more point, I have excellent near-sighted vision and don't wear glasses for driving. Oregon Two Triangle Shaped Objects

Rhode Island Mothership

Cumberland -- Mothership photo was taken by Joe Ferriere a radio announcer with his Pho-Tak 620 Reflex camera on  July 3, 1967, 7:15 PM.  He took seven photos of the Mother-ship with 620 film.  The belly hatch opened up and disc aircraft were launched. 

Assuming the disc is 25 feet in diameter the Mother-ship is about 700 feet in length. The protrusion on the bottom opened and closed to launch and recover the discs.

The craft moved in a rocking motion like a boat on swells. After launching craft the Mother-ship flipped to a vertical position and made a rapid upward ascent.  Thanks to August Roberts and Wendelle Stevens. UFO Photographs Vol. 2.

Brazil Triangular Shaped Object Tiny UFOs

Joao Pessoa Tambau -- After having a long nap from 7:00 until 10:30 p.m. I got up and stayed awake, while my husband and daughter went to bed. I was searching the Internet for maps to locate Mc Naught comet (C/2006 P1) in my place (Latitude: 7° 06', South. Longitude: 34° 53', West), Joao Pessoa, Brazil. I was upset because I realized it wouldn't be easy to see the comet from here.

On January 18, 2007, I went to bed thinking about the Mc Naught comet and stayed observing the clear sky from my bedroom window (6th floor) a 100 meters from the beach. I am facing the sea and "Ponta do Seixas" - the eastern most point of the Americas.

I spotted what, at a first sight, looked like a tiny cloud blown by the wind. When I observed it properly, I noticed its triangular shape without a clear contour made up of some faint points of white light (I could not count how many points - may be six or seven...). The delta shaped "thing" was traveling fast and soundless from southeast to northwest in a peculiar way with its wider angle pointing sideway (even a delta shaped airplane would not fly with one of the wings heading!).  I then realized that could be a formation of orbs.

It was difficult to guess the altitude but it could be compared to a commercial plane flying at 3000 meters. It soon went of my visual field (passing over my roof) - I ran to the next room, facing north and in a second I could spot the triangular shape again. I observed it until it faded into the light sky of the city.

The observation took 20 seconds. And my first impression is an altitude of 3000 m = 3 km. An estimated length of 76 to 153 meters, traveling at 954 km/h. A diagram can be found at the HBCC UFO Research website: http://www.hbccufo.org/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=1390 

Ceará --On November 11, 2006, the Brazilian UFO Magazine received a report from a communication engineer who observed small UFOs seen in State of Ceará, in Northeast Brazil. These small UFOs are common and range from a few centimeters to a few meters in diameter, and apparently are self or remotely controlled, with no crews. They have also been seen all over the world. The WW 2 foo-fighters could be a “version” of them. In Brazil, witnesses of such phenomena can be found literally anywhere. They call these objects “sondas”, which can be freely translated as “devices” or “probes”.

The witnesses report that the sondas can get close to people, animals and houses, sometime entering them (using doors, windows or just going through the wall and ceiling). The sondas also seem to react to people’s feelings, but approaching or going away if the witnesses feel delighted to see them or afraid of them. The sondas can enlarge and contract themselves, change colors and more rarely format, but the most amazing thing is that they seem to reside permanently in some places. Generations of the same families have witnessed sondas in action in rural areas close to small hills, creeks, rocky terrain etc.

Now, for some reason, it has been extremely hard to take photos and films of the sondas, and very few are known. However, the engineer that wrote to the Brazilian UFO Magazine has succeeded in taking photos and 12-second video of a sonda with his cell phone. He also reported having seen, several sondas in action. One  exploded in front of his eyes. He then got a few fragments from the ground, still emanating some sort of light, and took pictures of them. Canada Bright Orange Sphere

Sarnia, Ontario -- On March 21, 2004 I saw bright orange sphere similar to what Paul Martin, P.M. reported to Jim Bronskill for the newspaper a day or so later. A neighbor and I both took photos of this occurrence. I have attached two of the ones that I took.  For lack of a better name I referred to them as a fireball, but personally think that it was a UFO. I have called my neighbor's son who took a video of the UFO. He will be in touch with you but does not have a computer. The neighbor actually followed the object over to Canatara Park a few blocks from here so assume he has some good footage. I have attached another photo which I took before the object got closer.  I did not think that it was that good so did not send the first time. Estonia Triangular Light

Tallinn –Three witnesses spotted a triangle light at 4:09 PM, on May 28, 2006. A bright, little yellowish spot slowly moved from south to north (as big as normally Venus would be from Earth). Movement was stable and the illumination of an object didn't change during the observation. After six minutes, we lost the spot as it "melted" into a light blue horizon. I'm an amateur astronomer, so I know that it wasn't any planet, star, bolides, or meteorite. It was possibly some weather balloon but the wind was blowing from 288 degree, so not from south to north.  We luckily had Canon EOS350d camera and Sigma 70-300 mm focal length tele lenses with us so I captured ~15 pictures at 300 mm.  Thanks to Brian Vike, Director HBCC UFO Research. email: hbccufo@...

Italian UFO Newsflash  Issue No. 494 –

The Italian Center for UFO Studies (Centro Italiano Studi Ufologici, CISU)  - reports the provisional total for 2006 is 605 reports  collected as of January 10: seemingly a low figure, if compared to the recent years UFO sightings reports in Italy coordinated by Giorgio Abraini. There were only seventeen in December , one of the lowest figures since 2000..  20% of reports were actually para-ufological (as  many as 60 were crop circles retrievals); more  than 30% of reports (15% of events) were  explainable as meteors. About half of the observations came from Northern Italy, more than 25% from the South, and a little less than that originated in Central Italy. Mexico -- UFO Cylinder Sightings

TAMAULIPAS -- According to a news item published in the January 17, 2007 edition of Reynoso's "La Tarde" newspaper, an unidentified flying object with multicolored lights was reported over the town of Rio Bravo (state of Tamaulipas). The event occurred around midnight. Witnesses from the Las Americas district stated that it was an extremely brilliant circular object that hovered over some homes, causing alarm among locals, who reported the unusual experience to the newspaper. Scotland Strange Lights

AYRSHIRE -- A wife and her husband film an unusual aerial display on January 21, 2007 between the hours of 5 and 5:30 AM.  The wife reports that "it was probably some freak electrical storm, but the skies were clear!  I could see from Bearsden strange lightning type of flashes coming intermittently [every 4 or 5 mins or so] from  a single point maybe somewhere over Ayrshire moors. No sound of thunder just one bright white flash which looked like it had a centre point emitting outwards in a circular fashion. this I noticed at 5 AM and it went on till about 5:50 AM.  It was initially a clear sky at 5 which eventually had a few clouds at 5:40ish when I managed to get a video of it.   It then looked liked lightening because of the clouds but looked more like a nuclear blast before clouds.  Any idea what it was? Any other reports of strange lights? Any lightning recorded at that time?  The reporter has informed us that this sighting was reported to the BAA.  Anyone having  information on this sighting is asked to contact uforc.com.  Thanks to Christopher Montgomery, Director
