Explora-dome The affordable Observatory Dome, The Explora-Dome Manufacturer's Official Forum!!!This one of a kind forum is dedicated to those who wish to keep up with the latest Explora-dome information and news. For those currently receiving their domes and those considering purchasing one or have one installed, it will be a way to share ideas, designs and solutions. Welcome to the Explora Dome Forum.

With permission:"The observatory is absolutely outstanding.....the best out there and I am frankly shocked that you guys can sell this for the price you do."

"The cost, frankly, had me a bit fooled. This dome package was not what I expected for the incredibly low price that Exploradome was asking. Nothing....absolutely nothing....has been overlooked in the overall conceptual design, engineering and final construction of this product. When the observatory assembly was completed at the end of less than one day on the ASO Petit Jean Mountain site we were absolutely blown away at what we saw: a precision, beautiful and weather-tight building that rivals any I have ever seen. Bottom line is: large and spacious inside; tight as a drum against our high winds and humidity; incredibly easy to operate in both rotation and opening/closing of the shutter assembly; and something to be very proud of, a remarkably attractive observatory at an unbelievable price tag. How Exploradome can produce, deliver and install these fine buildings at this price is a mystery that the cosmologist can add to his ponderings of the night sky. Anyone who can afford a modern quality telescope cannot afford to NOT have an Exploradome."
