Senior Multimedia Developer


As a Sr. Flash/Multimedia developer near Yardley, PA, you will be
responsible for partnering with our client's teams to design, develop
and deliver innovative healthcare and pharmaceutical marketing
initiatives. In this role, you will partner with interactive designers
and art directors and lead the development of innovative Flash
interfaces and applications. The Sr. Flash/Multimedia Developer must
possess the ability to take abstract concepts and minimal corporate
visualization and turn them into exciting, cutting-edge experiences that
are user-friendly, representative of the client's goals, and within
brand guidelines. You will be required to partner with information
architects and software developers on the execution and implementation
of design concepts with minimal oversight from art directors or creative
directors.



Responsibilities:

* Partner with designers and art directors to concept innovative
user experiences that are beyond what is expected or normal
* Bring interfaces to life via Flash and Actionscript
* Develop prototypes, visual interfaces and Flash-based
applications
* Maintain existing Flash applications or Web properties
* Present work, provide design rationale, and defend work in
creative reviews or meetings
* Assist with the development of new business presentations
* Collaborate with interactive designers, art directors,
copywriters, strategists, account managers and other studio staff
* Establish and/or adhere to timelines and schedules
* Establish and/or work within defined scopes and hourly
allotments
* Stays abreast on industry techniques and new technologies
* Perform duties as assigned by art directors and creative
directors



Qualifications

* Expert-level knowledge of Actionscript and Flash AS2 AS3 is a
plus
* Advanced knowledge of HTML Programming
* Advanced knowledge of XML
* Advanced knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
* Working knowledge of CSS and Javascript
* Understanding of video and multimedia
* At least 2-3 years of agency (or in-house agency) interactive
experience


Flash Programmer - Bridgewater, NJ - Freelance, short-term project
work

Working as part of a team, Flash Programmers lead the development of
ActionScript centric Flash and/or Flex design activities, including
conceptual development through program delivery; assuring that clients'
expectations are met in terms of project quality, budget, and on-time
delivery. Most work can be done via telecommuting, with occasional
meetings on-site.

Core Functions:
Working closely with our internal department staff members, the Flash
Programmer will lead assigned active project activities and ensure that
all deliverables are executed and meet/exceed defined expectations.

o Maintenance of ongoing projects and applications in ActionScript 2.0
o Scripting of Flash Interfaces and applications in ActionScript 3.0
o Work with Senior Flash Designers to maintain design integrity
o Development of stand-alone & client-server Flash applications
o Communication with Project Management to prioritize requirements
o Stay up-to-date on new Flash and web interface-related technologies
o Coordinate existing client project workflow activities
o Ensure project delivery meets/exceeds client expectations
o Prepare and communicate/distribute status reports to management and
team members
o Ensure that all documents, content, technology deliverables are
correct and in conformance with company/client standards and quality
objectives

Position Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computers, Communications, or
equivalent certificate/related work experience.

Relevant Experience:
Minimum 1-3 years ActionScript software development experience, with
thorough AS3/Flash 9, Flex, and AIR experience is a plus. Knowledge of
AS2/Flash 8. Experience with web programming (DHTML, CSS, JavaScript,
CGIs). Successful track record of managing multiple priorities, on-time
delivery, creative problem solving skills, and attention to details.
Knowledge of Medical Communications services is a plus.
