We are a native plant society located in central New York. Our mission is:
- To provide members with an enjoyable means of learning about our native plant heritage;
- To provide the public with information about this heritage;
- To work in collaboration with other organizations to identify, map, and monitor good native plant sites and rare, threatened, and endangered native plant species in our area;
- To work for the preservation of these sites and species in our area;
- To encourage the use of nursery-propagated, not wild gathered, native plants in our private and public landscapes.
This list provides a forum for discussions relating to the mission items above.
