Documentarian Ron Mann asks us to open our mind in his new film that explores the surprising and delightful world of the under-appreciated mushroom, from the culinary to the scientific, the environmental and, of course, the mystical. "As with all of Mann's films, his enthusiasm is infectious. He comes to praise mushrooms, not to bury them, and long may his frying pan sizzle."
