I for one, am extremely grateful for Filtermeister, I would not have been able
to do Photoshop plugins without it. The internet is sad that way, you always
hear the negative stuff (especially in a support-type of forum like this). As a
learning programmer myself, I am full of adoration for people that are willing,
and have time, to do projects like these (and I always pay donation money or
license money when I end up using these things commercially).
I would be more than happy to pay more money for FM if that meant more support
from the developers. FM is a niche product, and one I would guess that it's
almost impossible to get more developers interested in. Your product actually
enables others to earn money, and that should be reflected in your license cost.
It's more expensive buying four beers in Norway than it is buying a FM
license... So if money could be an incentive to keep on developing FM, I am
prepared to dig deeper into my wallet :)
Cheers,
Rune
