Planning for GSV'09 is progressing nicely. We've gotten several
donations of door prizes from different contributors. They can be
seen on the club's official website on the GSV'09 Door Prizes page.

All the speakers are lined up and a brief biography of each one
appears on the site as well. They will be giving presentations that
includes a wide variety of subjects pertaining to amateur astronomy.
Each and every one of their presentations sounds like they're going
to be quite interesting and informative.

Event tee shirts are finalized with the logo designs. I'll start a
folder for GSV'09 on this site and the other Yahoo Frac sites. There
will be a picture of the logos in that folder. The front logo will
be a small logo on the left chest area of the shirt. The rear logo
will be on the back (of course). The shirt color for this year will
be yellow with the logos in black with white outline. I've used one
of Ken Walburn's drawings as a base for both logos. The front logo is
the club's official logo (that's one of Ken's drawings as well)
with "GSV'09" added to it. As the event unfolds, I invite anyone
that wants to post pictures to do so.

I'd like to thank those that are assisting me in organizing this
event and we're all looking forward to the best Georgia Sky View yet.
