Spoke with Jim late this afternoon. His wife still has a long ways to
go, but from a stroke on both sides of the brain, she has recovered most
of the use of her right arm and hand, and doctors say that they can see
signs of recovery on the left side. She has her memory and can talk, so
that is a good sign. I let him know that many people in the OS/2
community have been wondering how he and his wife are and have been
concerned. She will be moved to a rehab center to continue recovery.
Jim has been spending 24x7 at the hospital and has been trying to get
some kind of email working under XP. He has asked me to let you all know
how things are going and to express his gratitude for so many good
wishes. As soon as his wife is more stable and he has that internet
connectivity, he will be communicating with us.
