I was searching for information that happened to be in records marked private.
The Palm (Tungsten E2) was set to hide those records. FindWiz found the records
and, of course, let me see the contents. What gives? Evidently FindWiz doesn't
respect the private setting of a file.
Sometimes I want to see what is in those records. When I do, I expect I should
have to set the unit to show private records by giving my password.
This doesn't give me much confidence in the "privacy" of my records. Does anyone
know of a program that would really secure the stuff I want private? Also it
would be nice if FindWiz recognized the private setting of a file.
Did you know? Did you know? You can build your own solar panels,

but have you tried it yourself? "There is a step-by-step video guide online

I see that.
Keep in mind that only text and compressed or
uncompressed PalmDOC files (PalmDoc files have
type TEXt) will be effectively searched since this
program does not understand proprietary formats
such as HandStory. FindWiz is primarily used to
find text data which you as a user have entered in
your PDA. Your book viewer program will usually have it's own search facility.
Any plans to add this functionality?
Cheers,
Tom Bertin
