When you run your code does it show "undefined" as the value of _global.Song? If yes then you need either need to use _parent.songtxt_0 instead of songtxt_0

creating and accessing variables with AS 2
I am having a hard time creating and accessing variables in flash using as 2. even when i use _global.myvar = some_value, i still cant access the variable
