This is a question that requires some qualifications. How much experience
do you have in FORTRAN? Are you looking for something to do some work, or
just something to pass the time and have fun with? Are you looking to share
it with the FORTRAN community after you are done? How much math do you
have?

I think before anyone can intelligently suggest a project, these would have
to be answered.
