Is there a free website where I can download MARC records from the
site and make cataloging in my library much quicker and more
efficient? I would want to be able to select the formatting and then
Export the records. Later I would simply add my own schools barcode
number.

Looking at Follet, Sagebrush, Cassidy and others online this
service is not free it is provided at a high subscription cost. My
library uses Sagebrush Winnebago software with USMARC 852 holdings
data and Dewey/Sears subject headings. Finally, files would need to
be stored in microlif.001.

I joined this group in hopes of finding out where I can
download free MARC records. Please let me know if you have any
information on this.
