I am a system administrator for a small non-profit 4year
University in
Oakland CA. We cannot afford a library OPAC, in fact we have no
software at all. I recently installed the opensource package
Openbiblio
(see sourceforge.net) and it seems to be viable. Our librarian
is
willing to try it. One of the limiting factors is still the
cost of
populating the catalog database. A free catalog would help us
substantially. Where can I find these free marc records?
