I presume you have the CD with R2FX Configurator (mine is V1.3) and
this is what you are using to try and change the values.

I found this works for reading the threshold and audio level values,
but no too good at writing them. Instead I use HyperTerminal (in XP
all programs->Accesories->Communications) and the serial interface
instructions. I have my AF output set to 21 (syntax L21).

I'll email my "saved" file wxrx/ht direct to you rather than attach
it to this post.
