For what it's worth, I think CP is a terrific programming language and I hope you gents continue to develop and enhance it. My only regret w.r.t. CP is that I am not a better programmer, that I might contribute some, rather than just lurk on this list. Even with my limited ability, I have written useful programs in CP to accomplish tasks at work.
Segue: what books can any of you recommend on Component Pascal?

P.S. There's a lot in the latest CPIde that isn't in Blackbox that I'd find it hard to do without now e.g. syntax highlighting,
split-screen editing, bookmarks etc. etc.
Those who have not used systems with automatic, on-the-fly, syntax highlighting might be excused in thinking it is just 'eye candy'. However, I find it invaluable for highlighting unterminated strings and comment blocks. If you are prone to commenting out blocks of code (made quite practical by the nested comments feature of Component Pascal) the highlighting can save quite a few headaches later ;-)
