Not too many choices. The last Palm model with a real RS232 was the T3
(although it had some bugs already).
This is a list with ALL Palm models with a full RS232:
Palm Pilot, Pilot Personal/Pro, PalmIII/x/e/xe/c, PalmVII, PalmV, all IBM
Workpad models, both TRG/HandEra models, M100/105
M125/M130/M500/M505/M515/Tungsten T/T2/T3/C/W/Zire71. Clie models N/S (13pin
connector).
All Visor models, all Treo models, Palm T5/Tungsten E2 have a reduced serial
port, but not with RS232 levels. A data connection is not easy/sustainable
without some external electronics, and possibly also external power for the
interface. Same with the Clie models beginning with T, SJ, SL, NR, NZ, TG,
TH, etc.(18pin connector models) No serial port at all on UX-50
ZIRE, Zire21/31/72, Tungsten E do not offer any serial port. There is a
solution for E and and possibly Zire21/31/72, but it is expensive and I'm
not yet sure wether it works reliably with all applications (especially
GPilotS).
If I was you, I'd get a Zire71 or T3. If you must have a current model, get
the Tungsten E2 or T5. The Tungsten C is still listed as current, it offers
an awsome battery life (if you don't use WiFi) and a REAL RS232.
Beginning with the T3, I'm deeply disapointed with the way Palm handles
RS232 applications.
