Description

Founded in August 2007, the Greater Tehachapi Astronomy Club was created to foster amateur astronomy in Tehachapi, California, and surrounding communities. The GTAstronomyClub group is our way of sharing information and organizing activities. The Calendar lists local astronomy events. Check out the database of local observing sites. Post your astrophotos in the files section.

New to astronomy and need help picking or using a telescope? No problem--astronomers love to help others discover the wondrous heavens above. Send a message to the group and let us know what you'd like to do and see!
