Welcome to Austin Linux Enthusiasts (formerly: Goodwill Linux Users Group), based in Austin, Texas. We are devoted to bringing Linux to the masses while having a blast in the process. Come join us!
Meetings are informal, but topics are usually discussed on the list the week before. Come prepared to teach and learn.
Our goal is helping and teaching people about GNU/Linux, and often computers in general.
Other Linux user groups in Austin have good "lecture and discussion" type meetings, but our group is different in that we provide hands-on tutorial style help, and tinker together.
