We were on our way to Rockford, Illinois for the Rock Cut Cache (and
the travelling Dragon) which was unsuccessful. We did, however,
score a dashpoint on the way.
Somewhere east of DeKalb, Illinois on Route 38 (running parallel and
north of Interstate 88) is a little town of Malta, Illinois. Just to
the west of Malta is a nice little bean field, running along the
south side of Route 38. This bean field had some visitors today in
the form of Team Markwell. We scored a solid hit. Along side the
road, the readings were a little above 0.11 miles. Learning from my
first Geodash mistake in game one, we trekked through the bean field
to a little rise in which we could see all the way around. Got this
one to give me a VERY strong sat lock of less than 16 feet of error,
and had it finally read 190 feet before we decided to book it out of
the bean field (any further and we'd have been out of line of site of
the car.
Man - the Illinois points SURE are flat and boring.
Score one more dashpoint (315) for Markwell of Team Trailblazers.
