And the Gilded Rose Wiki. I
don't know about that. I don't like the idea about
putting so much of our own personal original content
online for people to easily be able to steal. Artwork
is one thing but bios and stuff. Meh.
Okay, while the content is fairly open for reading,
the thing about a Wiki is that you can set things
aside that the public can't see. You'd have to log
in, and have permissions to see them. Trust me, I
just went through the motions to get my Wiki account
here at work to see what I need.
But for general background items, such as the Hybrids,
or GSKs, or just planetary things in general, it would
be a bigger and better FAQ. Descriptions of buildings
(more in detail after the general descriptions we have
already), and the ability to update things on the fly
make the idea of a Wiki very lucritive. And it'll
give me something to do at work.
So how's this; I'll set up a Wikipedia engine, and
give us Ops accounts with read/write/publish
privilages, and see how it goes from there. Sound
fair? If we don't use it, then no harm done.
