Brief? Okay, here's the super brief way:
Make an account.
Do a search (on the left side of the page). If the
page is there, you'll see it in the results. If not,
it'll ask "Hey, I don't see this page in my database.
Would you like to make it?". Well....more or less,
it'll say that.
I've taken a bunch of stuff from the MediaWiki site
(the folks that developed the Wikipedia software), and
added it to our own help area (again, on the left of
the page). It should be fairly useful. If you see a
red link for something you'd like to read, let me
know, and I'll bring it over.
And to clarify, page names should not have weird
characters in them. # (pound sign) , (commas) or any
of the others, shouldn't be there. Just text. The
database is fickle that way.
