Festive glass   Message List

Holtus Flamefist is at his forge working diligently to create a festive
decoration for the season. What seems to be popular is the blown glass
spheres. They've been crafted with orange glass, flat on the bottom with
a green stem at the top. If requested the tops can be cut so they can be
removed and a small candle can be placed in the sturdy glass. The top
can be replaced with the candle burning, small holes placed in the lid
and around the bottom of the globe allow the candle to continue to burn.
The properties of the sand used cause the glass to be durable, remain
cool to the touch even with a burning candle inside, and resist the
buildup of soot often common from wick smoke. Sizes range from just big
enough to hold a tea light to about the size of a basketball. The uncut
version work well as simple decor and is slightly cheaper. Anyone who is
interested is encouraged to stop by the Hot Sands stand and watch or
purchase one. Each is custom crafted for every customer so no two are
identical. Colored accents can be added, per requests, to create faces
or simple designs.
