There are NOT 16 people that come to the IRC channel.
In a week if you do not show up on irc or sound off here with why your not on irc I will remove you from the mailing list.
Everyone is set to getting the emails and HAS said stuff on the list in the past so I know you all can get the mails.
Personally I'd just love to see people come back to role playing and not have to delete you but if your not coming to the channel there is no point of you being on this list anymore. A few of you haven't been on the channel in YEARS and a lot has changed since you left.

Kier paced... he paced, and paced, and paced... He wasn't in a spot that people were likely to run into him. It's not as if he paced through the town. He was on the out-skirts of it, far off the regular beaten path of wanderers. Though people passing by would still be treated with a wave and out-going grin. Kier is still strange, outgoing Kier.
He was at this spot because it's where they'd come through. This is the directions they were given. They'd be here, and if he'd done the math right, they'd be here pretty soon.
The note clutched in one hand was glanced to once more... He grinned, bouncing from foot to foot now, like an impatient child at 6am, christmas morning, waiting for his parents to get their coffee and settle so presents could finally be had. Yes. This is where they'd come through. Soon. He was excited.
He only had to wait for another ten minutes or so, before three
figures broke the trees. He caught their scent before he caught sight of them and his grin grew steadily. There they were. Three of them. Briefly, brows furrowed. Only three?
The three that exitted the tree line looked an interesting group. One male, and two females. The male was the larger of the trio, surpassing Kier's height of six feet, standing at about six and a half. He was dark skinned, handsome by some standards. Broad shouldered and muscled. Like Kier, he had an easy going look to him, and a growing grin on his own features. He was clad simply in a white tank top and loose fitting pants, and as he advanced bright blue eyes left Kier to look between the two on either side of him.
The female to his left was short, roughly 5'5", and eased away from the easy going nature - not seeming uptight - but not as care free as Kier himself. She had raven locks with a natural red hue that were
allowed to hang about her face and shoulders freely. Grey gaze - flecked with gold - were also settled firmly upon Kier. She wore a black tank top, and red leather pants.
Finally, the female on the right. Her height rested somewhere in between her travelling companions at 5'8". She shared the raven locks of her female companion, though hers were shorter, above her shoulders, and styled with a slight flare. Piercing blue gaze was often what caught attention first, and then one was left to wonder about the quicksilver hue that was within them. Her slight smile was quirky, and spoke of a trouble-maker. Of course Kier would keep company with this sort. A baby-t stretched across her torso, slate grey in colour and across the chest read, "I bite". Must know Kier.
Kier could hardly contain himself now, he grinned so wide his face might split, and finally let out a happy "Woop!" at the advancement
of the trio.
"Adamel, Seyrn, Lia. You guys made it!" He scampers towards them, and is met half way first by Cerelia, who gives him a hearty pounce, easily taking him to the ground. She grins wide. Cerelia being the third of our introductions. The trouble-maker with the shirt.
Adamel, the male of the trio, has paused nearby, large arms folding over his chest, a grin upon his features. The more conservative female, Seryn, has halted beside Adamel to watch with interest, and a faint smile.
Cerelia: "Man... think you coulda found a spot that was a little further away? Cause, gee... this was like a walk in the park to find it. Jerk."
Kier snickers, and pushes her off to climb to his feet, at which point Adamel reaches out to cuff his shoulder. You know, that friendly smack. Fun. Kier gives him a light punch in the stomach and winks to Seryn, who rolls her eyes, but steps forward to
embrace him with much less zeal then Lia displayed.
Adamel: "Aye, it took us three days. Three."
Seryn: "Far too long, if you ask me. What are you doing way out here?"
Lia: "Yeah. Really."
The newly arrived trio now pause to look around.
Kier: "I dunno. I was wanderin'. Found the town and stuff." He points toward it now. "It's nice. So I stayed. Opened a shirt place. haha." And now is when he points to Lia's shirt with an amused grin.
Kier nods, starting to back step towards the town, the three following suit.
Kier: "Still stuffy... you gotta lighten up. I'll getchas food. The inn here, it's nice. Got nice rooms."
The still stuffy thing has Seryn's eyes narrowing at him slightly - causing the
other two to snicker.
So off they go towards the inn, Kier chattering their ears off about the area, the inn, the town... All three listening intently. It would really appear that they hadn't been seperated for any length of time, with the way the four still get along and speak with one another.

Holtus Flamefist is at his forge working diligently to create a festive
decoration for the season. What seems to be popular is the blown glass
spheres. They've been crafted with orange glass, flat on the bottom with
a green stem at the top. If requested the tops can be cut so they can be
removed and a small candle can be placed in the sturdy glass. The top
can be replaced with the candle burning, small holes placed in the lid
and around the bottom of the globe allow the candle to continue to burn.
The properties of the sand used cause the glass to be durable, remain
cool to the touch even with a burning candle inside, and resist the
buildup of soot often common from wick smoke. Sizes range from just big
enough to hold a tea light to about the size of a basketball. The uncut
version work well as simple decor and is slightly cheaper. Anyone who is
interested is encouraged to stop by the Hot Sands stand and watch or
purchase one. Each is custom crafted for every customer so no two are
identical. Colored accents can be added, per requests, to create faces
or simple designs.

We have to many ops for as few people as we have. So I polled the other ops
to figure out who to deop. By a majority consincious *I know thats the wrong
word but Spellcheck wont give me the RIGHt word* and with a vote to be
deoped by the person themselves Ger is stepping down as an op. He said that
he is not on enough to continue being an op anymore.
It's sad to see him no longer an op but he said he'll still be around when
he can! Just as a normal visitor from now on.

Rumors of someone from the past returning have started to spread. A hero
among the Syreen. Roger Stevenson. A bald eagle syreen born in the late
1800's he joined the then still active United Syreen Army and quickly
rose in its ranks. At some point he became the subject of a project to
turn him into a replacement for the Syreens gods gifted warrior who died
in a battle thousands of years ago. The war with the Goblins was raging
and they needed a boost to morale and their power. He was granted
draconian and fae powers, as those are the gods of the Syreen culture,
and had a shield and sword grafted into his body. Ancient indestructible
weapons from some (Seemingly) forgotten warrior.
By this time the Syreen only had one real settlement of any substantial
size left. The one surrounding the royal castle. Sometime in 1901 a
massive army of goblins lead by a fearsome warlord started to attack the
settlement. The war raged on for months as both sides were still able to
get supplies to themselves. Both sides took heavy casualties but the
Goblins begun to press further.
In a last ditch effort Roger took his most elite fighters and made his
way to the goblin warlords encampment. Somehow able to convince the
royal family to exhaust all magical resources for this one mission. Only
four of the 100 syreen fighters in Rogers team survived to tell the tale
of the brutal slaughter of goblins. For every one syreen slain, ten
goblins fell. Only one fighter was close enough to Roger and the warlord
to see the fight. As he stated the two fought for what seemed like
hours, hacking and slashing at each other savagely until both were
barely able to stand. Then the warlord pulled out some sort of glowing
hourglass and laughed.
That was all the time Roger needed to decapitate the warlord and try and
grab the magical weapon. But something happened and the hourglass fell
to the ground shattering. The fighter saw Roger dive onto the shattered
glowing device with his shield before taking off for cover and the
massive flash of light lit up the night sky.
All that was left was hundreds if not thousands of goblins bodies
littered around the blast. Some turned to dust while others seemed to
have deaged even as corpses.
Roger was not seen again until Thursday when he appeared in the inn and
was sent to the Pulse for extensive healing.
After the battle the Syreen royal family scattered the village
surrounding the castle to protect the people. But they have made Rogers
story known publically as a testament to his bravery and to give their
warriors something to live up to.
Anyone that knows of Syreen history has the ability to know this story.
Faud and Patience's kittens have arrived! early this morning announced by
Felicity. Three kittens. Names and looks are not known yet. But litter and
Mom are all well.
Can't say how Faud's doing though *giggles*

No dates have been decided on yet, we still have all the

Is there one weekend in particular that would be especially

*smacks forehead* D'oh!! I was waiting to tell everyone until we had plans more finalized, but for the first year ever there's a chance I could make it to What's a hatchet (Sorry, can't spell it)
since there's a chance I'll be visiting Shane's grandma there. I might have actually made it to Scarby. XD Oh, well. You guys have fun.

Alright. Due to our VERY busy schedule there is no way we can make a trip down to Texas for Scarborough faire this year. However we CAN make it to the Oklahoma renaissance faire in Muskogee. In fact we already had at least one weekend there planed with my mom and Wooin. Possibly more of my family.
BUT on a DIFFERENT weekend *cause I am SO not sicking you guys on my family* I was wondering if any of you would be interested in switching the usual Scarby meet up to OK.
We know a number of the people that work at the OK
faire. In fact a lot of our Whitehart friends will be there. And Queen's Gambit will be preforming!
So, thinking memorial day weekend at OK for this years meet up? What say the rest of you that would want to join in?

Sounds good. I'll see if I can make it. Hmm. I know someone

dunno if he goes to any other fests. I'll have to ask him.

At about 10:30 last night all faecats in this realm and out had a
rather odd experience. They would have felt and seen a ring of white
energy wash over them. as it moved past a powerful draining felling
over comes over them only lasting a moment that might seem longer. But
then there own power is returned to them with a slight odd felling.
The agitation that persisted before is now gone and things seem to
again be back to what seem to again be back to what passes for
normal... However one cant’s shake the felling something big is on the
horizon. (MSG Bob for more information.)
Sabrina has once again trasformed the main room of the inn into a more
spooky version of it. Spider webbing is all over the place, the wood and
stone looks even older then it did before. Fake bats and fake ghosts dangle
from the rafters. Skulls and pumpkins are scattered about the inn and on
tables. Baskets of halloween candy on each one as well.
The performance arts departnet is getting tother its annual "haunted house"
attraction as well.
