RE: [GlobalBrain] Obama

For one thing, democracy is not a screening tool for racism and tribalism.
In fact real democracy can work to magnify racism and tribalism. Obama will
not become the US president for the very reason that there is "some degree
of" real democracy in the US and people factor in racism and tribalism into
their votes. Only in a non-democratic society such as The communist Soviet
Union you see a ruthless fellow like Stalin, a Georgian, rule the Soviet
Union including Russia through an autocratic regime.

Human societies are far from race-less, merit-base values, and US is by far
ahead of the international pack in this area.

I think it is a good opportunity for U.S.A. to go to a real democratic
society that non-white person becomes a president of U.S.A.

Obama WILL NOT become the next US president even if he wins the democratic
party nomination. He is getting a boost from the Hillary Clinton
dislikability factor. In other words he is getting negative votes to Hillary
Clinton not positive votes for himself. He is obviously an inexperienced
candidate and doesn't seem to understand the fundamental factors driving the
US domestic and foreign policies. The other important point to consider is
that America is far from a color blind society -racism and tribalism not
being unique to America-and there will be some time before a non-white male
can become US president, and especially an African-American whose
grandmother is still living in a village in Kenya. I would say that, save
for this constitutional prohibition for not being born in the US, Arnold
would have a much better chance than Obama at US presidency only if he could
by some miracle speak with and American (or New Englander) accent.

For better or worse, unless he is incapacitated due to some old-age illness,
I already see John McCain in the White House, and I don't think one needs a
crystal ball to see that.

Likely based on her careful interpretation of what she saw in her crystal
ball.

SHOCK--OBAMA WILL BE ASSASSINATED IF HE WINS: Nobel winner Lessing: If
Barack Obama becomes the next US president he will surely be assassinated,
British Nobel literature laureate Doris Lessing predicted in a newspaper
interview published here Saturday. Obama, who is vying to become the first
black president in US history, "would certainly not last long, a black man
in the position of president. They would murder him," Lessing, 88, told the
Dagens Nyheter daily. Lessing, who won the 2007 Nobel Literature Prize, said
it might be better if Obama's Democratic rival Hillary Clinton were to
succeed in her bid to become the first woman president of the United States.
