Adding fractions, one step per denominator

I didn't give GC enough credit. Fractions with different denominators can be added directly via "drag algebra" as follows:

Pull over to the right as far as possible, and you'll get the following. Note that GC automatically puts in the parentheses and places the terms you're dragging in the denominator of the new factor:
