It's pretty simple, really. No need to start a new group. Go to:
Management > description and appearance > web address > click edit
This will allow you to change the name of your group. The group address is the
same as the name. You will probably need to put underscore characters between
the words, like this:
Tri_State_Club
Hyphens will also work.
Be aware that when you make the change, if people have Internet shortcuts,
bookmarks (favorites), etc. to the original address, they will no longer work.
They will still receive messages, though.
If you must change the name of the group, send out a special announcement about
it. If you know everyone personally, make phone calls to make sure they are
aware of the change in case they read the messages on the web site instead of in
their email.
If you find that the new club name is not available (taken already), you will
have to find another similar one. Try running the words together, using hyphens
instead of underscores, etc.
