Description

This list is for the discussion of Hegel's Anthtopology and Psychology as it has been defined in Hegel's theory of subjective spirit (1st part of the 3rd volume of his Encyclopedia).

This discussion includes the development of Hegel's theory concerning these subjects as well as its connection to the other part of the system as well as the works of the Hegelian school on this subject (e.g. the psychological works of Erdmann, Michelet and Rosenkranz).

We also are interested in the comparison of Hegel's theory with the one of modern psychological theories and psychotherapies, especialy when they have some connection to Hegel's (e.g. Piaget, Lacan, Critical Psychology).

This list belongs to the lists of hegel.net (created 1997) and its Wiki. A complete list of the mailing lists at hegel.net with possibility to subscribe online can be found here.

If you have Hegel related questions or want to learn about Hegel, please see also our FAQ and our Hegel biography.
