Will be adding some basic gear to the full time mobile rad lab, and extending the optional equipment available for extended runs and special field trips.
 
Basic- *all the time* gear:
PM1703GN Gamma + Neutron alarming ratemeter.
 
Advanced *most of the time* gear :
SEI INSPECTOR pancake detector with swipe holder
Digital IR thermometer.
SAIC IDENTIFIER GR-135 so that on-the-fly gamma spectra may be taken and the isotopes identified.
 
This adjustment is so neutrons can be detected if present and the temperature of the material may be taken without touching it. Lots of
times a swipe can be taken from a surface
Next level would be to bring the

Handheld Radon detector with pump by Thompson and Nielsen
 
Portable single sample liquid scintillator reader, very compact, by Ballard.
 
Handheld Tritium-in-air monitor by Scintrex
