Description

Sharing both the good times and bad about country living on a small or hobby farm in Nebraska. Welcoming old and new ideas about raising, pigs, horses, goats: meat & dairy, sheep, chickens, broilers, guineas, ducks, turkeys, commercial & pet rabbits, dogs, cats & any other animal found on the farm. Discuss: animal health, share brags, show schedules, gardening tips, recipes, seed swapping, canning, preserving, gathering wild weeds & berries, jelly making. Crafts: quilting, needle work, spinning, weaving, carding, wood work, hide tanning, leather craft. Sharing stories past or present, inviting good conversation of basic survival skills. Everyone has a safe place to share, and learn. You're also invited to post animals and other products or ware from your farm to sell barter or trade. The small/hobby farm I believe is a very busy and complex place, not limited to one animals or deed, covering all sorts of topics, help us keep that tradition alive. Those in the surrounding states welcome too. Please just respect each other and please make note: there are children on this group, so make a good example please.

SPRING TIME IS COMING: everyone knows what happens on a farm in the spring,,BABIES EVERYWHERE,,find support here!!
