Question for you guys ...

I've currently got a 15" MBP which I absolutely love. I use it for my
day to day work, personal, business ... everything. I also have a
desktop that has Linux (ubuntu) installed which is also an excellent
development machine. Unfortunately, I'm not as effective on my Ubuntu
machine as I am on my Mac ... just haven't taken the time to get good
enough with VIM yet and all the other editors are just too heavy for
me (at least that's what I've convinced myself of) ...

So I'm wondering ... if I bought a Mac Pro ... would I use it as much
as I use my MBP? I would love to do my full time development on my Mac
Pro but also be able to take my laptop in to the living room when I'm
tinkering around at night. I'm just not sure, in theory, if things
will actually work out that way.

Do you ... or anyone you know work like this? Which do you end up
using more often? Your laptop or your desktop?
