encore décidé. Si Brian Bennett peut nous accueillir à Vankleek Hill, ON, et au
moins trois membres ont répondu par couriel qu'ils sont prêts à y aller, nous
allons observer avec Brian.


S'il n'y a pas assez de membres qui sont prêts à aller aussi loin, nous allons
observer de Parc Thompson. Plus de détails suivront plus tard dans l'après-midi.

19:30.

Merci à Brian pour son offre de nous accueillir chez lui ce soir. Nous allons
essayer de reprogrammer pour la fin octobre, avec un avertissement plus avancé
et peut-être la tenue de l'événement pendant un fin de semaine.

L'itinéraire pour aller à  Parc Thompson:
1. Autoroute 40 O
2. Prenez la sortie 28 vers Route Harwood/QC-342 O. Après 6 km....
3. Tournez à droite sur Côte Saint Charles. Après 2.5 km.....
4. Tournez à gauche sur Rue Main. Après 2.3 km le Parc Thompson est à gauche.

Given that only one person other than myself has expressed interest in going to
Bennett Field, we will be observing tonight from Thompson Park after 7:30 pm

late October, with more advance warning and possibly holding the event on a
weekend.

Directions to Thompson Park are as follows:
	 1. West on Autoroute 40 W

I believe that is mine, shot with a Pentax ME Super, 135mm lens at f/3.5 on
hypered technical pan film.
If all goes well I will receive my Arduino microcontrollers this week and I can
write some stepper motor software to get my mount back up and running. Unless
someone has a 1/10 or 1/11 rpm synchronous motor sitting around.

I have sent an e-mail to the Mayor of Saint Lazare requesting sponsorship from
the town so that we can get space for a meeting once a month at the community
center. I'll let everyone know when I get a reply.

I received an interim reply from Mayor Kary, he is having our request evaluated
(booking for rooms are tight so they would have to check before any reply) and
it may have to go before council but he is aiming to give us a reply some time
next week.
There would be advantages to being attached to a town.

Thanks Normand!

Our first indoor meeting will be Tuesday, October 11th at 7:30 pm. Directions

Telescopes.

At 0.55km after having paased under a railway viaduct you will find a warehouse
on the right with the address 1111 Route Harwood. Look for the name "Microplex".
The shop of Normand Fullum Telescopes is behind doors 5 & 6.

At 0.87km after having passed under the autoroute 540 viaduct you will find a

Ce mardi ou mercredi, le 25 ou 26 octobre, nous aurons une soirée d'observation.
Brian Bennett a gentiment offert de nous accueillir à Bennett Field derrière sa
maison pas très loin de Vankleek Hill, Ontario. Le site est bien meilleur que
notre lieu habituel, Thompson Park. Bennett Field est environ 25 minutes après
la frontière Québec/Ontario. Les directions et un GO / NO GO vous seront
envoyées le jour de l'évènement.

Il y aura du café et des beignes de servis. Pour que ça en vaille la peine, il
serait bien d'avoir au moins quatre personnes en plus de Brian, faute de quoi

This Tuesday or Wednesday, October  25 or 26 we will have an outdoor observing
session. Brian Bennett has kindly offered to host our group at Bennett Field
which is behind his house not far from Van Kleek Hill, ON. This site is much
better than our usual Thompson Park site. Bennett Field is about a 25 minute
drive past the Quebec/Ontario border. Directions  and a GO / NO GO will be sent
to you on the day of the event.

Coffee and donuts will be served. To make this worthwhile it would be nice to
have at least four people attending besides Brian. If we cannot get four people
then we'll go to Thompson Park. Please send me an email indicating if you will
be present and on which night.
